yo guys i am buying line invaders 08/09 maybe....

The variable for my buy is... is there a difference in this years model as to last years model (not graphics)

yeah thats where my mind was going because TTN (twin tip nation) gives you great deals on last years crap. also i need to consider that i am growing and crap

you might as well buy this years if there unchanged, because invaders will pretty much only last a season, they are really fun ski but are not high quality enough to last multiple years.

At least mine fell apart, tons of other peoples are fine.

just get 0607s and save your money because ntohing has changed besides graphics and you'll be lucky to get a whole season out of them.

for all of you guys with 06 or 07 invaders, you have a right to say they suck and fall apart....however, line changed them from 07 to this year's model (08) and they are now really sick skis that are close to bombproof....no more delamination or anything. Just get whichever year's skis you like more based on the graphics, because from the 08s to the 09s, nothing has changed construction wise

thanks for the input guys. I am gonna get last years model. I am not big for rails I like jumps and shit. I am not an agressive skiers so i wound be rocking my skis until the base falls apart.

I dont know whether to buy the 09 invaders from my shop for 350$ when they become availible,or to buy the 08s online.I always have bad experiences buying things that are more than 60$ online. AKA:.Brockerage fees.Last time I bought something online i had to pay 70$ extra from the gouvernment of canada .

i heard theyre the same ski as last years model with teh same flex points and everything but you might as well get the 07/08's cuz they cheap on evogear and liike d-structure

in that case, definetly get chronics, because they are pretty much pipe and jump specific. plus those will last forever

ive had my invaders this whole year, with over 100 days of park riding, so like 50 rail hits each of those days, and tons of big jumps, some urban, etc, and they are holding up amazingly, i only have two edge cracks and some small chunks of the top sheet taken off. i would definatly say that the new invaders are pretty bomb proof skis, ive had ar6's, stl's, watch lifes, etc, and these are the toughest skis ive had yet.
