Line......good or bad?

line kicks ass. There's a reason that Jibij Pro Shop uses almost entirely Line. While i will agree that the bindings have issues this year, you should know that the design next year is using completely new materials, which will be much much stronger. Hopefully this will eliminate all the breaking. As for the skis, I've skied a lot of the lineup, and I love every one of them, but I haven't skied the 1260 so I dont know about it. Line rules, every company is going to have issues, especially when They're designing and producing such progressive products. The best part about line is that they continue to push our sport through new developments and continually bettering the available products. I'll be a line fan til death.

I'v been riding lines since the days of the orange 1260's, and it has been interesting to see how the comany has grown.

Line was one of (if not the) first small type ski company to really focus on innovation, new ideas and asthetics. If it wasnt for line, and me seeing thier rediculously hot skis on thier website one day back in 2002, i wouldn't be a skier today.

People have old misconseptions about lines that need serious updating. Back when i got my first pair of 2003 skogens, it wasn't more than 5 days on the hill before they started to delaminate. The construction was aweful and they didint hold up cosmetically either. Line redeemed themselves by replacing my skis within ONE week of them breaking. Good luck getting any other company out there to courier a brand new pair of skis to your doorstep in 5 business days. I decided to sell my new replaced skis and rode heads for a couple of seasons, and they held up like rocks. I rode armadas for a few days this year and had a problem with a rotting core (according to my ski store). I contacted armada and they didint even have the decency to get back in touch with me (luckily it was a false alarm and the skis didnt rot!). And now i find myself back on line skis. A pair of skogens, and i am incredibly happy. thier ski technology has gone a long way. Iv owned 6 pairs of twins in my life and the 05 skogens are my favourite. Line nailed the design, the flex, the look, everything. The new skis have held up like blocks of steel and i couldn't ask anything more!

A lot of people i suspect still have the old line story in thier minds where overly soft skis delaminated left right and center, but things do change. I gave them a chance again, and i was incredibly impressed.

A lot of people on here talk a lot of shit with absolutely NO experience with what they are talking about. That is the essence of NS. Heck, without it, this place might fall into a horrible state of relatively inteligent people having sensible and thoughtful discussions.
