Line ep pros on groomers?

itt'l be like snowblades with wings on the front and back flapping so hard on groomers it may be scary enough to make you cry

True story. You can hear them coming.

If you are a way light guy it might be alright. Like if you are less than 160-170 lbs. overall they are just too soft.

im like 5' 9' 175 pounds so i'll see how they do but i got some old dynastar park skis that rock the groomers pretty well so if worst comes to worst I'll Just bust those out. thx for the info.

I dont think anyone else who has posted actually has a pair, in reality they are manageable on the groomers, but usually I just like to go straight down lol, gets you back to the lift for another pow run. Im not really sure why you would care considering the only thing you should be using your EPs is for pow and slush. Yes, slush, they are fantastic in the watery goodness, and in fact they are very fun in moguls as well. The super soft flex creates a really weird rebound when you are bombing moguls, it surprised me, but I skiied moguls for like 2 straight days on them in late may haha~

i agree. i myself have carved crazy tight arcs on groomers with them, and seen many others doing the same. just because they are rockered doesnt mean they cant turn, you just have to have a more centered stance instead of carving on the tips.

yes the are super soft. yes the flop around like a fish out of water. but are they still fun? HELL YA! if you just take it slow they are so much fun. i will be using mine in park quite a bit this year because they make butters so easy.

Are they tough to manage? I mean, I know the extra width will take a while to get used to but are they something you could take into the trees and be able to manage?

I ride a pair for pow and they are very fun on groomers. There is some difference but overall they are just fine on groomers. Plus if youre skiing these on groomers and not in the pow youre an idiot. In terms of getting back to the lift they are awesome and very playful!!!

I ski my EPs in tree pow all the time, and at my resort you have these super tight thick branchy treese from hell. They turn on a dime and there have been some times where I thought my ass was gone but my skis kicked right around~

The EP Pro makes amazing turns on groomers. Most people think "soft" those suck on groomers. Wrong!!! Here is Adam's take at www.untracked.com who swears by the EP Pro as an everyday ski.

"With skis like the Line EP Pro Skis you can ski anything anywhere no matter the conditions. The Line EP Pro skis are as soft as they are versatile... weird but very true. This ski is made for good skiers that ski center. If you are not a good skier the Line EP Pro will show your weak points quickly, especially on groomed terrain, but if you are a good skier you will swear the Line EP Pro skis were built for you by you."
