Line Elizabeth's mounting question

Just bought a pair of Line Elizabeth's and need to work out where I'd like to mount them.

Bought them for mainly for powder riding but also want them for BC kickers and switch landings, switch powder riding and general jibbing about. I think I need them fairly close to the centre (dead centre would be cool) but don't want them to dive too much. I'm short at 160cm and pretty light at 65kg so need to know how far forwards I could get away with?

The line website says that the reccommended position is 20mm back, is this a pretty good all round setting?

I went 2.5 back from dead center and i like it. If you're mainly going to be skiing forwards in pow go like 5cm back from center. 2.5 is good, but it doesn't float that great when riding forwards in pow. But if you're gonna be hitting booters and riding switch go 2.5

yea just go with the recommended. not only does it work fine, but there is virtually no way for a shop to mess that up either.

yep mount em at recomended. They are symetrical so anything further forward or back will put you outside the area where they are supposed to carve from

yeah i have mine mounted 2 back, and its perfect for me. i found when center they were hard to float in the pow. but 2 back is perfect for pow and perfect for park.

My first day on them today and those are great. Only prob I have is that I mounted them 2cm back from the midsole mark. Does this affect the ski as an

all-mountain ski? I ski 70% park 30% powder.

recommended is 2 back from center, so just go with that its perfect, i have mine at 1.5 back and they are radical

I'd say yes. You're 4 back from center. That wouldn't be ok with me unless they were like prophets.

Midsole is recommended.. and that is 2 back from center. Thats where they are supposed to be mounted and thats where they ski best.
