Line elizabeth

thinking of buying a pair im 5"8' and weigh 175lbs. just concerned with the length only being a 172. do you think this size will be okk. i ski 85-90% park 10% all moutain

I'm 5'8" and 130 and have been looking for a pair of lizzies for a while. The size will be fine, there are so many people on NS you say if your above X feet tall then you should be riding a ski Xcm long when in reality it is all preference. I currently ski on 166 Foils, and I know there are plenty of guys out there who are my size and skiing on 180+ skis. It is ALL about preference.

They'll be fine for you, the width should compensate for your size. I'm 5.7, 150 lbs and have been using the Elizabeth as a powder ski for a couple years now. They also kill it on groomers and in the park. The specs on the elizabeth are perfect because the short ski, combined with the width and sidcut make them sooo much fun. If it sounds like a ski you would like, go for it, don't be bogged down by the size.

I believe Eric Pollard is about 5'10" and 165lbs, if that means anything to you.

Either way, the Elizabeths would probably be a pretty good size ski for you. I'm 5'10" and 140lbs and plan on picking up a pair end of season for cheap. I'm so stoked for that!

pretty sure eric pollard is not 5'10"....

and to the OP, start running or biking or something, 5'8" 175 is pretty big....

and yes they are awesome in every way. unless your looking to spin on boxes like a fairy, then something else might be better.

well skiing is a physical activity that requires to be a little in shape, right? just saying, being sluggish and heavy on your edges isn't what a soft ski like the elizabeth is meant for.

im sure you will love the lizzies. i had them all last season as my park/all montain skis. they totally kill it.

btw, im 5'8 145lbs

yeah they're sick skis. im 5'8" 145lbs. and i ski them in the park everyday. and i live in NH. they are mad fun in the pow!

I bought mine when they first came out, and were not marketed as a park ski. I love them for BC jumps but thats it. They kind of suck for all mountain since they are like center mounted pretty much. They also are not the best ski for park. I have no idea why you would want a 110 ski for park, it is just more weight so spin around.
that being said they carve into cork 3's like none other.
btw I am 5'9" and 150
