Im pretty sure no one here has ridden this ski yet, but is there a chance that someone knows any info about it? pretty much on wondering if that the tip and the tail being the same with is gonna make the ski act funny. and how is it for east coast?

I'm pretty sure lots of people have ridden them. I can't wait to try them. No they won't act funny and if they do just ski even funnier.

Lots of people have demoed them, a couple people even have them on here.

Wrong!

I have ridden them alot. I'm looking at a pair right now in fact.

Loads of people have had the chance to demo them already.

Pm gravitypro, he owns a set and has been riding them. I haven't met a single person who didn't rave about them after they've ridden them.

They are super fun to ride. You would never think you were on a ski 110 mm underfoot.

And the tip and tail are not the same, you're thinking of the Invader.

I've never been to the East Coast, but they are a sick ski to ride in the park, they're certainly not a full on backcountry ski. They're pretty unique.

Use the search, cos there are so many threads on both the Elizabeth and the Invader already.

do they come in a longer size? i've only seen 172, and i'd rather rock a pair of 180s or so...

i don't care as long as the bassline is pumpin / the drumline bangin away / make one move and i'll blow you away / one false move and i'll blow you away

I thought that at first too, but it really doesn't need to be bigger than a 172. It's not so much a ski as it is a snowboard.

Yeah, the length isn't that much of an issue. 172 would seem pretty short to alot of people, (esp Pollard!!) but they're just a totally different ski and a real experience to ride.

Try them, really, do!

i didnt actually have a chance to ride them at Jibij camp but many people did and loved them

I wish i was a gangster

everyone is obsesed with the elizabeths i dont see the huge deal around them. they are so fat and stiff the only place that you could ride them is in deep pow and i just dont see what the hype about these are.

Silverton ur stupid....they're soft...theyre a park ski! and size 172 is not a powder ski....to most...yes it is fat...but is quoted as being Pollards Park ski

I wish i was a gangster

ok, but explain the rasional for having a 110 under foot park ski. it may be soft and im sorry that misconseption but 110 is now a park ski size?

^Park skis are getting fatter and fatter, pollard is just being innovative.

You honestly can't say anything bad about this ski until you've tried it. 110 waist, oh no, that's too fat for park. Says who? If you had actually tried a ski that big in the park, you'd know that it rips. It's called progression. You can't put a limit on how fat a ski is for a certain type of terrain.

I know alot of people who have tried them at the jibij camp and they said they were great in the park, they evn used prophets in the park, it doesn't matter how wide the ski is

Fat skis in the park is where its at... look at andy mahre he was riding maiden's in the hit list trailer wasn't he and he was throuwing down..

look the dyna concepts were like a 75 waist, now the fujis are 85, people were using seth pistols in the park with a 95 waist, hes just goin in the right direction faster

You know you have the coolest cab driver when he says, 'And we're off like a prom dress.'

Im sure il bring my 125 underfoot to the park a few days this winter, quit beeing so closed minded and have some fun people.

Anyone remember Pollard riding the Prophet 130 in the park. You can ski whatever you want in the park. Especially if you are as innovative as Pollard

Mammoth and Whistler have banned all skis over 100mm in their parks this year. Their statement is that fat skis have no place being ridden in the park and they are a liablility.

Whose decision was that, Oren's, because I know for a fact that Mammoth itself would not have thought of that. Not that it matters, because days that I would take skis out over 100mm at Mammoth I would not be spending them in the Unbound park, I would be skiing the ave chutes and the noids.

oh man, andy is going to be pissed

Are you buying an all east college pass? It'd help me out if you bought it at attitash.com/parker. It's the same price as the normal site and will accomplish the exact same thing, but you'd be helping out a fellow newschooler. thanks
