LINE ELizabeth Durability

First off, I did searchbar. So I'm looking for a new park ski, and everyone who has the Lizzies loves them. I have Atomic Urban Punx right now, and I want something fatter. The only thing I am worried about is LINE's durability. I've seen edge rip-outs, delams, and I don't want to buy a ski that will break when I use it. For reference, I am 5'9", 140 pounds, and a type 2.5 skier who does primarily park but does a few trees and groomers, and that occasional East Coast "powder" day.

they sound perfect for you. as far as durability they are sidewall so you may get some chipping but unless you hit constant rails which it doesnt sound like you will your edges should be fine. they are great skis the only damage ive ever heard of is a binding ripout but that was one person and ive seen other poeple on their third mount on lizzies not having any problems. get em while you can and enjoy em!

Thank you. For another reference, I do about 60%/40% boxes and rails/jumps, but that's because my punx were too narrow and soft to hit any, so those numbers might change.

super durable, they're $600, so they are going too be built better than $300 invaders.

140 days on one pair

180+ on my current ones, had a small edge tear out under foot this year from casing a flat down disaster, but got it replaced and has held up just fine so far.

youll get a lot of top sheet chipping at the edge, but after a while its kinda just rounds itself off. though its never affected the durability in any way.

my shop mounted mine backwards, which means that they were a little forward of center...i'm convinced that shops have an anti-lizzie thing going.

damn im getting new ones hopefully

im just scared to go in there and demand them

i dont want two fucking holes drilled through my ski right where it will be flexing, god damn it

I think sometimes shops could maybe argue about a bad mount, but in front of center is pretty hard to do. The only logical explanation I can think of is that he tried to mount them 5cm back and had the ski backwards.

the bindings would be backwards....

and thread is in my threads?

and i think 2.5 cuz of lines "fatty base and edge" mine have about 4 edge cracks after never being tuned and an estimated 100 days of park abuse with lots of rails

I've had two pairs and had no problems so far with either, sold the first, regretted it for a season, bought a new pair. Planning to buy a backup pair this summer too.

I love mine. They have the standard shitty plastic topsheet cover that every complains about when it chips, but mine haven't yet. I also only used them probably 10 times but I used them on everything, moguls, powder, rails, jumps, ice... I absolutely stomped like a 6 foot cliff onto a rock and thought my base was gone, not even a scratch. The edges are 2.5, I measured them one day. I highly recommend them. And don't worry about the topsheet chipping, i does nothing.

they destroy groomers, bit slow edge to edge but they carve real nice. if you use them on rails they wont hold well on ice but that is true of all skis. i love mine on groomed even with a mild detune underfoot.

Loved my elizabeths. But my sidewalls on both my skis exploded after a good 2 years of hard rail sking.
