yeah man the fx titantium and carbon model were released this year, that particular model only a few skis were made, and decided not to be released this year, I think they were all part of the responder line or sumthin? i believe they also planned a womens carver as well for next year.

I skied them last season at Copper for the on snow demo. They are sweet for rippin on. They are super stiff, and ride smooth. I have skied the Crossmax before and think they are allot alike.

yea, those carvers are just blizzard skis with line graphics. they're ok skis for what they're made for, but they're pretty much just rental skis.

i dont think line should start making ski's that go away from freestyle and big mountain... i haven't tried the new lines but they look shitty and definalty not like anything line has made... i just dont think companies like line should turn to skis like that...

 
i still dont understand what kind of skis line makes that arent downhill skis?

wow line is in the ski industry to make money guys and too open up their line of skis is good for their company see it allows other people other than park and big mtn. riders use their ski its also called diversification or having different types of skis so you have a broader range of skiers. yah, Line is still not a very big company compared to most other big name company's like K2 or Salomon. this way it gets their name out there more. by putting out the new carving skis, they put more money into designing and testing, so thats why they dont have new graphics. but now that they do have carving skis out there, it will create more cash inflow, allowing them to put more money into R&D, thus allowing them to put out constantly better products year after year

still, look at it this way. your a 35 year old guy (or lady), and you want the best ski you can buy with your hard earned money. the name line means shit to you. there is a sal cross max, head skis with intellegence, Rossi's new Ski cross ski. What ones do you think they're gonna buy? there are so many brands that have already established themselves for that type of skiing. Line, being the smaller company they are, dont need to sell the masssive amounts of skis salomon does. they are making a huge mistake if they start going away from the stricktly park ski thing. what they really need to do, is come out with a totally new line of skis, with updated construction with something unique (the ollie band is a start, but its still just CF stringers), and they need to make them durable, and as good or better than all the new skis that are out now. if not they are gonna die. i know a couple shops around here are droppin line. thats not a good sign.
