Line Darksides?

If anybody has rode on 'em I really need information about them, I have a really good price on them but I want to know the details before I get 'em...so, what do you all think of them?

If you mean the 02/03 and newer models of the Darkside, I've heard rave reviews about it's telemark twin, the Karhu Rox (made from the same mold in the same factory). It's supposedly a wicked sick ski on pack, groomed, and moguls, with just enough float for that light, east coast 'powder' (i.e. 3' or less of freshies).

super fun carving ski, holds up amazingly well and it's company name is decieving to it's amazing performance at carving, one of the funest skis i've tried and ripped on

Seize the carp

The ones he's talking about aren't twin tip, they're basically just Line's carving skis. Many people will tell you they suck just because they think it's a Line ski so it should be for the park. But i've heard some really good reviews about it from people who actually used it for what it was made for.

Emo kids don't cry because they're sad all the time, they cry because they have to listen to that horrible music all the time. I'd cry if i had to listen to that over and over and over....wouldn't you?

The darkside is a nice ski, it has a half-tail but you can ride them easily backwards. landing backwards is just as easy too. Plus they have the titanium powerband so they aren't so soft.

LINE skis rule! Representin' 319

the tail is turned up 15mm. that is basically nothing considering their real twins have anywhere from 51-56mm tails, and their half twin, the maverick has a 30mm tail.

first of all--all the new darksides (black topsheet w/ astronaut) have the titanium

secondly--they're still a park ski, because they're still really flexible (this also makes them a great mogul ski and i mean really great)

thirdly--they are stiff enough for all mountain, but if you have to have balls to go really fast (think chatter)

fourthly--you can ride switch with them. I do it on groomed all the time. Just don't mess up or hit an ice ball

finally--if you want an all mountain ski to take in the park this is the one to get

Here's my setup: 03 Darksides w/ Rossi Axial Race 140 binding (heavy as hell--really bad for the park) in the 175 length
