Line Cosmetic

Hey guys,

I bought a new pair of skis this season, Line Anthem 171. They are fu***** great !!! They ride so smooth.

But like the first week I rode them there were like many chips, very deep chips .... and I tought it was not normal or it was just the Line cosmetic that was made like that... Anyway, I repaired those chips with a knife and epoxy... but there are always new chips showing up....

I was wondering if it would be better if I write to Line or just send them my skis I don't know...

Tell me...

i demoed the same skis for one day and when i started they looked like they had only been skied once and not in the park or anything but after a day of park riding with jumps and rails, the skis looked like they were a year old and they were so bad that the ski shop wanted to charge me money for the damage which eventually they didn't but overall i was really dissapointed with the durability of the topsheet but it's such a sick ski

line skis topsheets suck.

like worst i've ever seen. my invaders are beyond tattered.

nothin you can do but just leave it, they wont warranty it.

epoxy isnt necessary

when ur scraping the snow off dont bash them together and wack at them, u got to be smooth and gentle like their ur new born baby

when i first got my dumonts they did that. i went through the epoxy/razor blade thing and it sucks, but after my edges dulled a bit it stopped and i havent had any problems since.

yeah i'm treating them like it was my little new born baby... but it's just when i ride them too hard . But what happen if i see like brown/beige shit in the deep chips... is it wood ??? i will take pics and post them...

yea thats happened to me, its the wood core but there should be a layer of epoxy or what ever material is between the wood and topsheet

I think if you sell a park ski after using it for a season more than the top sheets will be fucked up.

whenever i buy a ski i buy it to own it... to ride it... to shred it till it dies... so who cares about some topsheet nicks... and your complaining about it on some anthems?... try riding ep pros everyday (or anything else thats nearly 130 under foot) and then talk to me about nicks and chips..

i'm pretty sure you are just gonna have to deal with it, that's not a manufacturers defect, that's just the normal wear and tear on the topsheet. the ski will hold up just fine, the topsheet is just going to be banged up.

instead of sending them to line send them to me

it might take me a while to fix your chips tho so dont expect them back for a couple years

but honestly top sheets dont affect the way the ski skis so dont worry about it

anthem top sheets suck but it doesnt matter. after awhile its so bad ou cant tell. i taught munchkins in them and after a while i cant tell when a new chip forms.
