Line Chronics

So I just bought a pair of the new Line Chronics and took them to my local ski shop to get the my bindings mounted on them. I asked them to mount them at true center, but they told me that they don't recommend it because it fucks up the flex of the ski. Is this true? Cause I know the chronic is more of an all-mountian ski.. but I'm pretty sure center mounting it would affect it that much in the park. +k for help guys, thanks

i bought my chronics and had the same delima i went with true center. and they ski great. get them centered. line recomends them real far back cause there an "all mountain ski" but they bee good.

i have mine dead center! works great. it seriously fels like a symetrical flex, i havnt had one problem yet

Yeah dude that's bs. I had a pair centered and they rode fine. I actually found that -2.5 from true center is the sweet spot for me personally but that's because I'm taller and felt over the bars on big landings. As far as the functionality of the ski though, center is totally do able. Shit I've seen line post on here to mount them center. Think it comes down to what your gonna use em for though. If you plan on using them as a 100% park/urban ski then go center. If you plan on using it to jib the entire mountain and charge then I'd highly recommend the -2.5. As far as the whole -7 recommended, that's bs. No idea who would ride that ski that far back.

i ended up getting them -1.25 inches. the fucking guy said he "didn't feel good about mounting them centre" so he like begged my to do that.

You can get them either way and they'll ski great either way. If you ski park/all mountain, get 'em centermounted
