Line chronics

i got the line chronics because i wanted a ski that would kills jumps not just rails which is why i leaned from the anthem. my question is how are they on rails, im on the east so i do alot of rails as well as jumps.

My friend has them and loves them. They are a little bit stiffer than invaders or anthems, and no symetrical, but more of an all-around ski. He still uses them 90% park an dslays rails on them. No need to worry.

well i used them opening weekend and they slayed everywhere but i was disappointed on rails. they seemed heavy when it came to spinning on off and switch ups which seemed impossible. or maybe its just because i had not skied in months.

i think it might be because of the size and where they are mounted.i am 5'6-5'7 i have 171s no joke i was skiing on 148s on my previous skis. are these too big or do i just need to get used to them

i picked up a pair of last years and have about 10 solid days of park riding on them already. 181's mounted at +1 from true center and they slay everything. amazing jump ski and absolutely kill rails and boxes. i am very very very pleased with the way they preform. i had a dream last night that i snapped them though, knock on wood... my only complaint is that i cant get any stickers to stay on them for some reason. i think its because its so bloody cold here. i even put clear nail polish around the edge of the stickers to hold them on but they still come off. the skis are too sexy for stickers anyways.

Mounted at +1 from center? Why? do you value carving switch more than forward? Mounting forward of center would also offset the even swing weight, the reason most people get center mounts.

yes i do ride switch more then forward and when i do ride forward i dont really notice. i ride all of 500ft so it really doesnt bother me at all, in fact i prefer it(the whole reason why i did it). why not? wouldnt mounting behind center off set the swing weight just as much? think about it for a second. nose grabs are easier because the noses are closer, tail grabs are easier because they are practically in my hand already. nose butters are easier, tail butters are easier, nollies and ollies are easier, nose presses are easier as are tail presses. i ride park so why would i need a ski that is mounted for all mountain riding? center mounting is nice and all but its not how i prefer my skis

ive got the 08s in a 181 too, but my shop wouldnt mount them at +1, where i had drawn a line. they said that i would not want that and that it would mess up the ski and that it was not possible. so i didnt argue and just centered them. im going to mount snow tomorrow for my first day and hopefully they will be sick. and i couldnt get stickers to stick onto them either, its because of the top sheet. its really slippery but i managed to get some stickers on. only black stickers, i wanted them to fit in and almost seem like they are part of the graffic. and did you detune teh edges before hitting rails? i think they will be fine because they havent been sharpened

yeah i hit them with a gummy stone quite a bit right under the foot and then just a little bit everywhere else. i also sanded along the top of the sidewall and it has helped alot with chipping
