Line Chronics

So i just got a pair of 167 line chronics but when i got them home i noticed something..there was a small sticker on the base that said "made in china" I thought all of line skis were made in vermont but i guess this isint true this year?

so is 125 dollars (us?) a good deal for 04 chronics, with only cosmetic damage
 
Art for line topsheets is done in vermont, they def. arent assembled here.

^and uh, i thought chronics came out in 05? did you mean 04/05?
 
theres pairs on ebay new for 265, yeah 125 isnt a bad deal at all. as long as its cosmetic damage, and not coreshots/ thrashed edges
 
they should probably hold up just fine. keep in mind that line doesnt transfer warrentees if the seller isnt a dealer, but they do sometimes warrentee things anyway, but at 125, thats not bad.
 
I'm bringing back this thread because I want to know if anyone has the 187 chronic wides and how they feel about them. Cause I'm in a situation where I either get a pair of invaders or a pair of 187 chronic wides and I would rather take the chronics but want to know what you guys who have ridden them have to say about the size.

how are they holding up?

are they like the Invaders?
 
no no no no no, line is awesome. there are only topsheet probs with one type of their skis. all their other stuff seems to be pretty well bombproof
