Line Chronics / Chronic Wides / Skogen Sprang

Hey i'm new here and I am looking for some opinions comparing the chronic 06's (157)to the Skogen sprang 05's (158cm)

and is it worth it to go wide in the Chronic?

I am from new jersey being we don't really have powder but I am going up to vermont for 2 weeks total soon so I don't want to be limited.

 
The 05 Skogen's and the 06 Chronic Wide are the same ski as near as I can tell. The difference in length measurement is just a difference in either how they're measuring or how they're opting to report it.

So the 05 Skogen in a 178 should be identical to the 06 Chronic Wide in a 177 with exception of the graphics... which I think look better on the Skogen anyway :)

Ya i am pretty shure this years chronic wide and last years skogen are the same ski. They rip and there pretty tough. Go with the skogens, there cheaper and they look s i c k.
 
i ski my skogens mostly and they are up there on the list of awesome skis ive ridden. i tried 4 different skis before deciding to go with skogens last year and the only complaint i would have is they delam a lil when you first get them but it really doesnt make a difference and you cant really tell they even delamed. and the graphics are fuckin sic
 
yeah...my friend had the skogens last year, got them warrentied for them breaking and they sent him Chron Wides
