Whats really funny is that everyone is talking about ghetting these skis, when in fact a very select handfull have ridden them. Don't count your chickens before they hatch.

^yeah, but this happens every year. remember when the TMs came out and all the hype surrounding them? of course, there were less people around then (about 20% of what there is now), but still, it's basically the same thing. people will hype; companies depend on it.

from first hand expierence i can tell you that the ski is very durable. think about a tank, now take away the hevyness. thats a dope ski right there. i dont know how else to explain it. except that its just CHRONIC.

yeah i demoed the skogens, which are a sick big mountain ski, and i was gonna demo the chrons, but they didnt have any for me to demo that late in the day, and i was kinda pissed, but 2 other people from my shop skied them and liked them a lot

man i hate this im like 5'6 so im between the two sizes i have 171 and ther perfect well maybe ill grom to like 5'8 then the 177 will be perfict

What are the differences between the Chronic and the 1260? Are they both gonna feature Maple Macroblock or is the 1260 gonna have Aspen again? Also, are the 1260s gonna have the Fatty Base and Edge? Do they have a different flex pattern? Probably no one knows yet. By the looks of it the 1260s have the same dimensions as last year.

it's the EXACT same situation for me. I'm 5'6' and ride the 171cm Mike Nicks right now and they're PERFECt.

I'm demoing the 177cm tomorrow I hope. I'll let you know how they feel.

I'm slightly mad there is nothing in our size range, but, I'm thinking the 177s won't be that big of a deal. I'll try to let everyone know how it goes.

they are so sick, super lite, little bit stiffer and wider. awesome to ski on. the mini chronics are like $240 and the regular are about $420
