yea so i just received my pair of chronic wides yesterday and i took em to the store to get em mounted. the guy behind the counter showed me that there are some bubbles under the top sheet! he just said to ski em this season and return em after, but what the fuck! i thought line only had problems with the invaders.

has anyone else heard of this? will it affect anything in my skiing?

sometimes stuff like that happens, i dont think it will be a huge deal. just ski em out. dont be a bitch.

relax bro, i just wanted to see if anyone has heard of problems with the Chronic Wides before.

lol realax? he wasnt even making fun of you. your just breing a bitch about your topsheet, its only cosmetic when you get you first chip youl forget all about it

i dont see the problem

you...

A- get to ski the shit out of the ski for free with no worry of having to pay for another pair

B- have one of the dopest skis out there

and

C- the ski will probably only last a year anyway.

i have bubbles in my invaders.. the bubbles never got bigger or effected anything. the rest of the ski fell apart but the bubbles didnt effect anything

I'm seriosly sooo bummed right now, I can't ski my wides cause I'm waiting to get bindigns for them, the few days I did ski on them were fabulous though, and no problems for me but i've been on them for 4 days

Despite all that if you buy a pair of 500 dollar skis or even 300 you shouldnt expect em to be fucked up from the day you buy them. It'd be like buying a car brand new with dents all over it and saying hey, dont worry about it the motors fine. Overall though, I think we need to relize Line had problems with their shit this year and theres nothing were gonna do about it now. Lets move on and they should warranty it all next year. God thats gonna cost alot. good luck you guys with lines and Jason.

yea i have chronic wides, i just got them at the begining of this season and they are being sent away for warrenty because the edge popped out at the tip, and it was starting to do the same on the other ski. i had no bubbles though.
