Line Chronic vs. Volkl Revolt 95 vs. Armada ARV 96 (2019 models)

I’ve narrowed my choices down to these three skis. I ski on the west coast about 60% all-mountain and 40% park. Which of these is the best at carving? Which is the best at blasting through crud? Which have the best float on pow? Basically I know these will all work in park fine, I just don’t know which is the best all-mountain ski.

I’m worried that these skis may be too flexible (besides the arv) so does anyone know if these skis are too flexible to hold up at high speeds carving all around th mountain?

By the way I am an advanced skier who is decent at park and almost 6’ and 145 lbs.

Thanks in advance!

ARV or Revolt. Rode the Revolt 95 last season and its super good all over the mountain. Also quite a bit cheaper than the other 2 options

I’ve only skied the ARV out of the 3 skis you listed and I love it. t’s held up to everything I’ve thrown at it. I skied it on chopped up snow, bumps, and groomers at Jackson Hole and powder in Utah. The only time they struggled a little was when I was landing drops and jumps in 1-2’ powder. That said, on packed snow they’re amazing. Super easy to carve hard and very playful

I read that the revolt has a medium flex, do you notice any unstability at high speeds or carving, or does it hold up just fine with that stuff? Any experience in pow with them? Sorry for all the questions i appreciate it.

Hi. Revolt is really good in carving and stiffer than arv in my opinion.(only hand flex, not ridden arv). But revolt is not really good in powder, at leat not in 60cm deep. Tips dive really easy. Arv tips seem to be bigger. But i am skiing first year so probably its just bad technique.

I had the revolts for 6 days, rode them on groomers, trees and pow and absolutely hated them. Cant carve well and feels unstable when you have to cut tight.

Honestly just buy a Rossi slat/dynastar slicer factory. 98 under the foot, skis all mountain better than the revolt 95 arv96 or line chronic imo.

132-98-120. Full sidewalk construction with rocket, none of that cap wall/ar50sidewall bullshit

They’re really inexpensive too. They have really gotten their money out of that ski mold considering they’re bringing it back next year as well under dynastar
