Hi NS, I’m looking at skis for next season and am considering

the Chronic, the Punx, and the These. I have a pair of 155 2012 Afterbangs but

they’re just way to beaten and small. I basically only ride in the park and hit

medium size jumps and rails. I’m about 5'9" and 130lbs. Looking for something

fairly soft but still playful and durable. Opinions and other suggestions would

be great. Thanks

The punx are really buttery. Super playful for rails, really snappy. As far as jumps go, the feel super poppy on take offs, but definitely not as sturdy on landings as some other skis. good for medium sized jumps though

thanks for the help… and whoever sees this please ignore the other two identical threads. still new to this...

I got the These this season and love them. Relatively light swing weight, really soft and playful, and pretty stable from the camber and width (90 underfoot). I hit mostly rails and they're fine for that. I'm assuming they'd do alright on any medium sized jump or smaller, may get a little sketchy going huge because of how soft they are (they're extremely torsionally soft as well). They're not durable at all, I've ridden them around 15 times and have 2 edge cracks, one on the tip which I had to pull part of the edge completely out and epoxy. Then again they're $200 skis so you could get 2 pairs for the price of the punx or chronic
