Ok so ill be buying new skis at the end of the season and i am really interested in the chronic! i never heard one bad review on them.. and i guess the new ones are amazing!

im in the park 95% of the time and only ride groomers 5% and thats when i go to Killington for a trip or something so not that much..

i weigh about 145 and i am 5'9" 1/2... i would be getting the 178s! i heard there really light there great on jumps and they amazing for rails and jibbing around! I do rails a lot more then jumps so i would say 85 (rails) 15 (jumps)

is this a great park ski?

well I had the chance to ride my friends chronics for a couple runs, so I wont be able to give you in depth help: they are probably the best all around ski that Line makes and They are probably the best jump ski that they make (havent tried the stepups yet though). They slay on jumps and are great on rails too, but if its mainly rails, I would go with a softer, less cambered out ski. try the Line Traveling circus. that is the perfect rail ski that can handle jumps and some groomers when needed.

i hate the traveling circus! i will never get them i tried my friends and i didn't like the feel of them and there to soft for me i wanna ski that has butter zones but stable underfoot like the chronic... i tried my friends for one run and i liked the feel of them the second i started going! i only did one park lap so i didn't get to do a lot on the rails with them but the rails i didn't they felt really smooth on them and really light.. easy to spin and switch up and with the early rise they sound like the perfect ski for rails and jumps...

HOLY SHIT i love my chronics. i use 173 they are so fun to just jib around with and hit rails with. i really dont do much jumps because im from connecticut but they are great on rails. they feel a lot lighter on your feet than anything else i have ever ridden but still are incredibly stable when landing. my favorite ski i hav ever ridden

awesome dude thats what i wanted to hear +kk for you.. i want a ski thats solid on jumps and great on rails.. and i ski at ski sundown to! im from CT cant wait for the powder days saturday and sunday

i dont know a lot i only know what i rode! i wanna hear like if the durability sucks ass... if the edges dont hold up good! or if they suck on rails for them or unstable on jumps!

I got the 2013 chronics. The early rise makes it feel buttery if you do nose presses, but not like as flimsy as traveling circus, or anthem ( Same ski ) but it still has that rigidity to stomp huge jumps. the early rise makes everything so different and amazing. Over all, the ski is amazing. Awesome graphic, great performance, and super versatile. over all, I believe that the chronic is the only choice, and the best ski out there.

werd thanks a bunch 10/10 karma for you.. i want a park ski that is amazing in park for everything mostly rails and and can stomp big jumps! and that ski sounds like the chronic... the early rise seems like it makes that ski so much better for everything...cant wait to pick up next years chronic so stoked!!!!

the biggest size in the chronics is the 178 so you'll be getting the 178? they don't have a 177 in the chronics

I've rode them for a few day in the park. Overall, great ski. Love the early rise. I have a buddy who uses them as his everyday ski and the edges, bases and topsheet have held up really well. Overall, a great ski. If I didn't already have punx, I'd jump all over these.

no the biggest size in the chronic for next year is 185 your write about that.. but its not a 177 its 100%(178) i just looked on there website on there next years catalog and its 178 then 185 not 177
