has line been bought by k2 yet? if so, does this mean way better quality control? because i bought this year's bacons and i've been hearing a lot of stuff about delam problems on the bacons. thanks

yeah that happened awhile ago. From what I understand Line still pretty much operates on it's own, they're just backed financially by k2. You should be fine with the bacons.

yeah i'm stoked these skis are so sick, graphic not as good in my opinion but i'd rather have better quality

i finally got mine mounted from last year. i hope they dont delam because they are so awesome. they do seem to chip fairly easy though.

are they capped or not...I am pretty sure they aren't but I actually don't know this

because I know skis that aren't capped do tend to chip a lot.

yeah, the chips don't bother me at all. I think it gives the ski character

I was just curious on the construction and didn't want to do any research because I am a lazy ass right now.

moisture might effect your core though depending on the way your skis are constructed

someone correct if im wrong..

but k2 was bought buy some huge company that owns a bazzilion different company's

so yes they were bought

well k2 is actually the huge company that owns a lot of different sporting goods companies... they don't just do skis.

thanks skierX. yeah they do baseball, paintball, lacrosse... anywho glad to hear that i hopefully won't have delam problems.

I think they are owned by a company that makes fishing rods

thats why their poles are so strong and flexy
