Line Blends

Alright ns I'm lost and hope someone can help. I want to buy 2021 blends but having second thoughts, reason being I've heard these skis are too soft to even be fun by several people. Everyone knows the blends are straight noodle sticks but hopefully coming from someone who has ridden them, are they genuinely worth it. I just don't want to spend 600 on a ski that is too easily overpowered and ends up being more of a pain than actually fun to ride.

Also if anyone has any suggestions for other skis slightly stiffer around the same price range please lmk. thanks

I'm on last years but they're basically the same I think. Only gone out a few times this years but I honestly really like them, and don't find them too soft. Obv they are buttery but once you learn the flex pattern and where they are stiff and soft it can be super fun to butter off everything and do presses and stalls. I'm only like 125ish pounds tho and so I dont have much weight to throw around, if I was heavier idk if I would be saying the same thing.

Thanks for the input. I don’t weigh much either so it’s good to hear from someone like me who rides them

Wait would you say these things are durable at all or do they just peel like my TW pros when your skis cross during grabs and stuff.

The blends changed this year! The mount/flex is more foreward now, making it way more park focused

Eh hit or miss, I have a friend that destroyed his in like 2 months, like the sidewall just peeled off while skiing. But then I have a few other friends who straight abuse theirs and they are going strong.

I'm 5'8 175lb and have about 50 days on my 2019 173 blends; they're rusty and banged up but still work fine. I can overpower them but they're still very fun for me, and my go-to when my body is beat to shit or I'm skiing with kids or slower folks; very easy to ski and versatile.

So if I were to buy playful soft skis td should I go for the blends or something else? Cause based on what ur saying the blends don't seem worth it.

I guess the point I was trying to make is that they are soft, but even at my weight on a short set they are a good all mountain ski IMO (if not charging). I like them in the park but I’m a park newbie :)

In my experience so far they dont seem as durable as say the k2 skis I've been riding before, that's really my only concern with the ski. Curious to see where they will be at by the end of the year. I assume they're built similar to the TW, my brother is on the new chronics and they have the same issue. But if all you want is a buttery playful ski the blend is a good choice I think.
