Line Binding Question

I am about to send my broken reactors in for new ones and I was wondering if anyone knew if Line addressed the problems with the toe piece breaking for this years product. I am concerned because mine broke and caused me to break my femur earlier this year.
 
I wasn't messing with the settings at all. If you search on the net you'll see how many people have had broken toe pieces. It happens when you land in soft snow. I know many people who have broken the toe pieces. I still believe they are the most innovative bindings on the market but this problem needs to be addressed. I have these mounted on my mojo90's so another binding isn't really an option. I have a bad feeling I will definently break another pair this year, hopefully not my leg.
 
When you get them you should call josh at jibij and hopefully he can walk you through setting them up properly. The blown off toe piece is common with improperly set toe height I believe.
 
my 1st pair broke in exactly the same place too. Luckily I didn't break my leg though, that sucks! I haven't had any problems with my 2nd pair though, and they were also from last season.

I support Line more than any other company, no one has come close to putting as much into "newschool skiing" as Jay Lev and the Line team, but I have to say that I'm pretty dismayed/surprised that Line hasn't ever (as far as I'm aware) said anything official about the problems with the bindings. Clearly there were problems and it seems only fair that the people that bought the bindings should be aware of what they were and what caused them and what has been done to resolve them, even if it was only a problem that only affected one batch of bindings (which I have always suspected was the case).

Having said that, I love the concept and will continue riding my reactors as long as I can...
 
^the problem was people setting them up wrong. The track underneath will be utterly destroyed if you don't get it right.
 
^pretty sure that wasn't the problem with mine. And even if it was that why couldn't Line have just posted a HUGE warning on their site as soon as they found out that it was going to cause problems?
