okay i keep seeing the line anthems and keep hearing people say its a sick ski, am i the only one who thinks its the dumbest looking ski ever

If you are choosing a ski based on the design of the topsheet, you are either:

A) Plain retarded

B) Have rich ass parents so if your skis break they will buy you new skis, but they have to know which topsheet you like before they buy them for you

C) Know jack shit about skis

or

D) All of the above

 
lay off, he never said they wernt good, he said he didnt like the topsheet, i agree, i dont like it at all and it looks retarded, and i dont really want a ski thats good with a topsheet i hate. but there still good skis preformance-wise

C) If you knew about skis you would know not to choose a ski based on topsheet.
 
i choose a ski based on performance but i dont see anything wrong with wanting a topsheet that i want to have because it seems like id be retarded if i bought a ski i didnt like
 
first of all im not saying i base my skis on looks at all but liking ur skis look is pretty inportant cus ur going to be looking at it all day and if it looks good to you u will be more confident

also the snowboarders on the skis are total gapers and its soppost to be funny
 
I dislike the graphics but they are such a sick ski that If i snap my fujatives I will be looking for an inexpensive pair or taking my brothers when i head back to school
 
yah im not too stoked on my chronic crypto graphics (i have last years) especially cuz htis years are relally dope but i still love them as a ski and how they perform
 
Companies should only be allowed to produce skis with plain black topsheets, so that kids are forced to buy the ski that is right for them. That way, there wouldn't be anyone moaning about how their new pretty-looking Hellbents don't perform in the park.
 
The Anthem was the best park ski produced in the last four seasons! I say this in terms of dimensions, construction, size, and graphics. You can take this ski just about anywhere, they slay the park, rip groomers, and can handle a little pow. I think you'll notice over time every ski company steal the dimensions. Line needs to bring them back, but with a little less camber.
In terms of the graphics it's been the best design every year. The Kiss graphic resulted in Line being sued and not releasing the ski but then re-released with EP exclusive graphics octoland and the giraffes. The Wolf design came out a couple years before everyone thought the three moon wolf shirt was the hot shit. The Purple/Keyboard/Panther design was amazing.
Finally the snowboarder graphic which is the greatest of them all. See they're funny because you think they're dumb. The beauty of these skis is this actual post and the gaper snowboarders that are confused when they see them in the lift line. Skiing has finally reached a point were we can actually rip on knuckle draggers from decades ago.
When you think gaper day, do you think of snowboarders? Why not? Well this ski proves you should.
 
Mt. Skier your a little bitch and kangbang said that i just get all my gear just given to me by my parents if you read the thread douchebag thats why i said i work hard for my gear. I didnt say that it was a bad ski i said that the topsheet looks dumb even if it is ironic i dont like it. I am not going to ride a ski that i dont like even if the performance is good i will just find another ski with good performance and a topsheet i like so you can go to hell Mt.Skier
 
I hated the look of Afterbangs at first and now I own them and love that old lords of dogtown skating look they have.
 
I think the graphic is hilarious! I ski in the midwest and have tons of people compliment and say they are hilarious! I rode up with a few people that said that they remember when they looked like that. LIne did a great job with it in my opinion. But honestly a topsheet shouldn't matter. But I do like having a good laugh every time I look down at my skis!
 
BTW. just my two cents... most ski art is tolerable, bearable, or otherwise ignorable. But what was Movement thinking when they went from this:

I wouldn't use these if they were free... I would trade them for the old ones. They are one of the best skis ever.
 
i have 'em, i always get questions like is that you on the ski, are those custom made, and why are there snowboarders on your skis but i love 'em so whatever
