heya i cant quite make up my mine wether to go nd buy some k2 PEs or line anthems they both seem pretty mad. if anyone has any nd has any advice would be mint assssss

churrrrr

It really really depends.

Anthems are made for doing park, but still having the footprint to kill the crud. However, from what I have heard, they still arent the most stable things, and/or the fastest when out of the park. They are made for big booters, and stomping huge landings. They serve their intended purpose well. If you stack them up to other 90+ footprints, they dont do as well when it comes to out of park situations. (for example.. an ARV would be better all around than an athem, but wouldnt be as good in the park perhaps.. where the symmentry of the anthem is dominant)

P.E.s however, are made more to be able to do anything really. Nothing specific, and it is nomaster at anything, but it does everything decently. They are 86 underfoot, which.. depending on where you are is enough footprint for powder (I live in California.. and 86 still seems to work okay in the heavier pow) however, take into mind, it is not a pow shredding device. They are extremely stable from what I've experienced, and even if the snow is not particularly in great shape, they find a way to dig a nice edge. They are very similar to the Scratch FS's I own in how they feel.. but they have just a little more footprint. Really aweosme ski.

Thats the info I have available. use it if you can.

Well yes the anthems are an amazing park ski and they are semetrical which gives them and edege in the park because its much easier to ride a ski were it is suppose to be mounted rather then mounting a non center mount ski at center then your fighting the ski, also the anthem is fine outside the park, much better then the arv because with the carbon ollie band they ride like a stiff ski but preform like a soft ski, ARVs are just noodles everywhere.

As for the PEs i havent had a pair or rode a pair in a few years so i dont what they are really like any more, when i did have them they worked well, they were a stiff ski so they did preform everywhere on the mountain and the waist width didnt really take away from the ski.

It all comes doent to personal prefference and how you feel you'll use the ski the most you didnt really say much except which one

The PE's are not that stiff... they are a midflex... Cmon, i weigh 130 lbs and I can still fool around on them.

If you pull out a pair of volkl karma's THEN youre talking stiffness.

Dude.. you can demo anthems anywhere where you can demo pe's. they are both K2 owned... Line is basically touring anywhere K2 goes this year.. so youll find them. guerenteed.

Line does not have that close of a relationship, they merely use the same factory.

Tom beech himself says so.

and "nd"

that stuff just doesnt make sense

id go for anthems

wieght and hieght can factor in it as well
