Line anthems in pow

so i bought a pair, and then realized i dont have a pow ski, do these hold up okay in pow? i mean with the 93 waist they should but you never know, thanks for any help

depends where you mount them. center, they probably won't compare to a stiffer all mtn ski with a nomal mounting point and 87 waist. but they'll still do well for center mounted park skis, and improve farther back

whatever you do just make sure you mount them dead center. if you don't you would be (no hate here), an idiot. Anthems are perfectly symmetrical and you probably already knew all this but I'm just making sure you know not to mount them back.

The waist gives them pretty good float, and the sidecut feels good in pow. I think they'll get the job done fine if you're a lighter skiier, but definately not optimal.

They where fun in pow for me i was 5' 2'' at the time i rode them but i got float and the stomped cliffs very well. As for groomers^^ these things shred so fast haha i love them.

im 5'11" and my anthems blow in powder. If you want a pow ski thats still gonna rip park, buy scratch brigades. I love my anthems to death for everything else including bumps, just no pow pow

Thanks for the advice, there's a pair of libtech pow nas for 250 at my local shop so im probably gonna snag them tomaorrow

Soft. So they chatter when you get going fast. =( fun to ride in the groomers, solid pop, and they can butter like nothing, just not stable for bombing hills

im small and light (5'3", 100lbs) and they work just fine in the backcountry and on steeper double black powdery runs.

if you havent got bindings yet get marker jester/griffon shizo so you can go center for park and shift them back for pow.

^^ ha. your post count matches your k. hmm. hope my anthems hold up in pow. im a bout 5in and 20lbs bigger than those who said it worked. just have to see

your clueless, no offence. i have had three pairs of invaders (paid for one, other two got on warrenty).

Anyways i rode my invaders everywhere thinking "powder is fun but its pretty hard/tiring". Then the day that changed my life came, the day i tried my friends ARG powder skis. I just about cried i was so happy skiing on powder. It was a whole new kind of skiing. I now have a pair of 178 anthems mounted center and a pair of 179 Hellbents mounted center as well.

There is absoltuly NO comparison between them. using fat skis is just a whole new type of skiing. i guarentee you anthems are NOT a powder ski. they are super fun on groomers though!!

they are a bit wide compared to some park skis. but they are a completely symmetrcal park ski. dont think you can combo them as a powder ski.

dude opening day yesterday there was like knee deep maybe more and I used my athems cause didn't wanna shred my czars on rocks and they slayed you shouldn't have a problem, and my anthems are center mounted too
