Line and its love for snowblades

i think its hypocritical of line to claim they are so progressive when they still sell snowblades. Snowblades are for gaypers from texas who can't ski. Imagine Armada's fate if they would have started out with a fleet of snowblades. their image as a progressive company would be hurt. so my question is, why does Jason Levinthal still support the blades?

i bet they still make an okay amount of money off them. and god knows that money goes straight to the ski side of the company, i dont think they make changes to the snowblades from year to year.

i can see why rossi and salomon sell the blades because it gives them money, and they dont have a uniformed image ( race, board, etc...) to represent. but line is supposed to be a 'newschool' company

if line were to stop making ski blades, there would be a violent uprising in the ski blading community. they are vicious people who are only waiting for the time to snap and start a violent uprising

uhhh, didnt they start off making snowblades. then they grew into twintip skis. they created the twintip right? so i dont think they are being hipocrites at all

Close your eyes, show me your face.....I'm gonna piss on it

you have to realize that real skis with twins evolved FROM the skiblades that line was making at the time. read the thing on the line site about how they got started.

$$$$ is right...think of how many little (and older) kids buy those shits. Then they upgrade to twintips and stay with line bling bling

they sell them because they make them money. Skiboarding craze may have left the US but it's still popular in other places such as Japan. A company is not going to stop selling a product that is selling well because some kids on ns.com or anywhere else think it's gay.

to think that Line would stop selling skiboards just because we think that they arent cool is absolutely retarded. around here (midwest) alot of resorts have line skiboards as rental equipment, so they are at least making money off of them that way.

Saying Line should stop selling skiboards because they also sell twin-tips is like saying 'Hey, i'm gonna buy skis from a 'core company' just because i want to support the hardcore newschool scene, not because i like their skis.'

yeah man...the ski business, at least twin tip is super small, its sad to think about it, but there's a ton more gapers from texass on snowerblades than cool dudes on twintips. wish i owned a snowblade company...den i'd be rolling in it

Without Mike Nick and Eric Pollard (who started on Line skiboards) We wouldn't have fat twintip skis at all. If anything we should thank Line for saving skiing and making it cool againg, even though they did it with something vaguely resembling fruit boots we all wore when we were in elementary school. Either way they are still THE MOST PROGRESSIVE BRAND in all of skiing. I mean the Prophet 130 speaks for itself and it skis better than anything else I've ever been on. Word.

gapers don't come form texas, they come from england and shit where they get a year off in between university and hgih school called a gap year. I'm pretty sure texas doesn't have that.

I love ski blades dude. When someone on the hill is giving you shit, you can just whip some out of your backpack and cut them.

Ever thought that Line may sell as many skiboards as they do skis?

In addition, ever thought that hating any group of people for anything besides, to quote a famous historical figure, 'the content of their character,' is ridiculously stupid?

seriously, I've got now hate for a kid on ski blades. Is he having fun? Yes. Does the fact that him riding on snowblades have absolutely any affect on me? NO. Quit the immature bullshit, do what you do and be happy with it. Quit worrying about everyone else. Fucking kids these days....

Twix 182, line did not create the twin tip ski. Salomon was the first mass produced twin. and also that would mean line made flat-back ski blades, which would be the dumbest thing ever.

If hate were people, I'd be China.

^ no dude it was line every one else followed line the following year they might have been the first mass produced but they for shure didnt make the first one.

Is it something i said so fuck you to.

Yeah, dietcoke, there was also the K2 Poacher which preceded the 1080. The 1080 was the first mass-produced and well-recieved, but not the first
