i searchbared it and couldent find anything on this issue

so im not sure if its just a defect or if its a common problem but the base and edge on the tail of my left ski is begining to split from the rest of the ski. Im deffinetly going to try and get this warrentied but if this is a common problem then i will probably get a different pair of skis which would really suck because afterbangs suit my riding style really well

thanks for your help ns and sorry for my terrible spelling

yeah i heard that the tails on alot of the left skis only start to delam...the right ski is always fine though

sorry i had to, i have no idea though

This seems to be a common trend in line park skis. Happened to my invaders, the usual edges ripping out on the tips and tails, bit of delaming, and many more problems. Fun skis but absolute shit durability.

They will warranty them. I had a manufacture default in mine where they delammed in my basement over night after 2 weeks of riding them. Line skis always delam, but other than the delam, you can really beat the piss out of them. I have about two seasons on my 07/08 invaders and ski them so hard. Cant wait to get my afterbangs back

ive never really dealt with a warranty but if i got my a-bangs off skis.com and had em for about 2 weeks how do i warranty them?

near my tail i got a nice about 1 inch crack going horizontil through 1 layer going into the layer right above the edge what do i do?

ive had 3 pairs of chronics, all of them got delaminated haha and beat to shit on rails. I also have afterbangs which are now bent after hitting some sort of object hidden in pow yet i still like line skis ha

you couldve just bought them from backcountry.......and any ski will break with enough abuse on em. with that said good luck with your surfaces they look ill

hahahahaha

i beat the shit outta mine and they are holding up fine ...

... meaning i drag mine through parking lots .. through them off the thule .. hit dumpsters ..
probably a defect man. take em to the shop you got em from .. hopefully you didn't buy online!

i talked to a guy in a shop, and he said that it was happening to alot of afterbangs, he said the intire top sheet of wood was coming off

not the same skis at all? I did nt even know the afterbangs could de laminate seeing as there is no laminate on them

mine are at the tip, but i just took em into my shop and they fixed em up all perfect like...gotta love free repair!

same here, i think durablity is great, i havent waxed mine, done any maintence tons of boxes and rails and mine continue to ski strong, really slow ski tho only complaint

For future Afterbang purchasers, it helps if you put rubber cement around the edges, if you get cracks/splits on the top sheets, put more on and you won't have to worry about any water getting into the bases. PS, don't put it all over your whole top sheets inless you really want to, rubber cement turns a yellowey colour.

i've had 08 anthems for two seasons of straight east cost park riding, and they have held up fine
