Line afterbang vs. Soloman threat

So im 5'2 120 pounds. i ski 80% jumps and 20% rails. I hope to do more like 65% jumps and 35% rails this year I am a intermidiat park skier who isnt doing anything insane but isn't messing around in the park. I live in the east so i do almost only park. I went to a shop and they said both skis would be good for me. I was just wondering what people think of them. I have herd that the afterbangs are either the best park ski ever or they are terible so i want to know about them whats good and whats bad. I havent really heard anything about the threats so any info about them would be awsome. I am open for suggestions as well. +k for advise.

i know people that have both... my buddy that has threats needs them replaced due to them falling apart after 2 months of skiing.. the other one with abangs isent a very aggressive skiier but they are holding up really good he just has a little bit of top sheet chipping ... so with this being said i would go with the afterbang BUT because your on more jumps you might want a stiffer ski so maybe the step up?

ha yeah no biggie, but if your doing more jumps you do need a stiffer ski and if you have the money i would recommend the Armada AR7's

I would highly reccomend the afterbangs, i bought them last year and im so happy i did. I live on the east coast too and i do both jumps and rails, and they hold up great on both. the topsheet scratches a little but its not enough to weaaken the performance of the ski. Get the Afterbangs!!!

I was thinking about ar7s armada is my favorite ski company but ar7s would be pushing my price range plus i heard that they are extremely stiff and i dont way very much. My dream ski would be this years t-halls but those are 550$ and thats a lot of change if anyne knows where i can buy them for cheeper than that would be great even last years model would be awsome

line chronic cryptonite!!! they have a ridiculous deal on evo for last years cryptos but id go with line or armada cause saloman has problems with durablity andline and armada just make better skis. but most ski companys didnt change any of last years skis except graphic so id reccomend going with a ski from last year then u can get a ski that was out of ur price range but now it will be in because of the deal

thanks plus k for everyone but i do have one more question does anyone know where i can get this years t-halls for under 550$ or last years t-halls for under 550$?

PLEASE take my advice on this one, I have ridden and own both skis. I rode the salomon threats 2 seasons ago. I broke one pair within 15 days and the next pair within 4 days. I currently am on my 3rd pair, which I gave away to my brother because I refuse to ride them. Salomon threats are absolutely awful skis, DO NOT GET THEM.

This past season I bought the afterbangs. I ride mostly rails, and smaller jumps. I really like them. Super poppy for rails, they have been durable, and have a nice fun flex. A nice fun rail ski. If you are looking to hit big jumps, then I might consider a different ski, but for small jumps, buttering around, and rails, you can't go wrong with the afterbangs. I've been really happy with them.
