The T-hall and afterbang are somewhat similar in flex, in the softer department. They are better for butters, rails, etc. P3s are a little stiffer but carve slightly better. All are good park skis.
Line afterbang is heavy, and has some minor durability issues. They are poppy, and very flexy in the tips and tails due to the butter zones. These skis are great for someone who does more rails than jumps.
The thall is very light and poppy. Theses skis are stiffer than the afterbangs. The thall has a softer flex in the tips to do butters and they are siffer in the tails to stomp jumps.
The p3 is a stiff park ski. They are great skis but from other threads are known to have durability issues
afterbangs are heavy but they are really good. great price and they are very playful. you should def get them if you want durability. i have only had the afterbangs though so idk about the other skis. but i love them
Just what everybody else said, and here is my knowledge on afterbangs.
They are a great rail ski, super poppy and pretty durable. They can hold up on jumps up to 45ish feet, but they are definitely a rail specific ski. The only downsides are slow bases and some people have had durability issues with them. I've ridden them hard on rails for 25 days and had no durability issues.
wait for next seasons afterbang. with all the new technology in the ski there is no doubt that they found improvements that can be made to it after its first year on the market. But of the three you listed the afterbang would be my first choice of them all. the t-halls arent bad but you have to know that you are really paying for some dumbass name instead of real quality and work that went into the ski. The afterbang will most likely be the next ski I get.
There is also talk of a new line ski called the mastermind which is pretty much the afterbang but a little bit stiffer to hold up on the big jumps
no you are wrong bra, the step up is a new ski thats has the same construction as the afterbang, but has the same flex as the chronic, and it comes in longer sizes such as a 184
im on my second pair of t halls right now. (the old ones got too short, theyre still in not bad condition) i love them. other than that ive tried out my friends afterbangs for the beginning of a run so i cant really say much about those. my brother has them though and he really likes them
