Hi people of NS,i have a question about my 2009 afterbangs. I bought them like 3 years ago and used them 2 winters. When i bought them, i noticed that they we're a little too long for me but i tried butters and stuff and i we're not able at all so i was a bit dissapointed. I thought they would be okay for next year but it was still hard to do butters. I really wonder what to do with my skis. I probably grew up in a year but i am not sure if its going to make a big difference.I really really like thoses skis but they are heavy a little bit... Last winter it was still hard to flex them so i really don't know what to do..thanks for replying i really appreciate !

I'm 5.8 ft ,130 lbs and my skis are 166.I noticed that many people say they are very flexible and stuff but it does not happen with my skis..

If anything those are small for you. I was riding a 175 at like 5'6 and I'm 5'10 now and ride a 179 k2 (actually like 183)

I'm 5-8 125lbs with 09-10 afterbangs in 166. Its simply learning how to butter. You have to lean pretty far to get your skis to flex. Start by going really slow and then planting your poles to lean on then swing the butter around. Thats how I learned anyway.... good luck hope this helps

Lean harder. It might be your boots, they might be too big. My buddy had that problem, new boots = perfect butters.

yeah last year i had shitty racing boots or smething like that and they werent comfortable at all so it could be this! and the other guy if you dont want to repost something interessting then dont

Dude, just because they are racing boots doesn't mean they're shitty, pros slay in those too. It's just the fit of the boot, don't get a boot just because it's a certain brand or look, GET THE BOOT THAT FITS.

Dude, you don't understand how shitty they were.I rented them a my local store and it was 2000' racing boots .They hurted my feet all winter and i was tired. So i now decided to not change my skis but buy new park boots! something like Roxa or FT !
