What is lines Marketing scheme, honestly? I cant remember an add for any ski, or even any rider since the reactor ads. Seems to me the smart thing to do would be to get your products some publicity. Am i wrong??

maybe they aren't ready for mainstream yet. since they have their hardcore fans tellin everyone about them maybe they are just waiting to get bigger to start. i have a feelin that since the k2 merger we'll see some ads

pretty much k2 bought line skis. now line is using the same plant as k2 but they still have completely defferent development teams.

Ya i think the whole KISS scandal is whats keeping back, and no one is on the team except for pollard... right??

ya your right. i didnt know anything about this year's lines until i went to their site, or got the freeskier buyers guide.

the company that owned line sold their holding to K2 so line will now be using K2's factories and K2 gets a cut of the profits, also they relocated to seattle, no longer in burlington, it will still be line just a dif company owns them.

yeah pretty much just word of mouth i guess. but seriously, who doesn't know about line.

Also the sponsor skiing comps, thats a form of advertising.

i think they are doing good there target audience is us and we pretty much know there company and their lineup so really the people that matter know about the product

We are grassroots. The MC program is our marketing for now. What we basically are doing is letting our skis do the talking through demo days and our MC's.

um, pollards the only big name left, im pretty sure battersby's gone too. the first round of people gone was rediculous though: parker, bibby, coker, wilson, sprang, longe, nick. um who's there now is basically a bunch of up and comers like banks gilberti, zach griffin, and the young guns winners. and antoine gangier is on there. not sure if brandon beckers still there. also, they still sponsor lots of events, which is good for skiing.

im guessing next year theyll have theyre act together, cos this year has been a disaster by all accounts.

I dont think LINE cares about making bigg money and going mainstream, theyre just chill and wanna make skis that work for us. I think they feel that they dont need to advertise because theyve been aroundfor so long. If someone wants their ski theyll convince themselves to buy it and not be affected by advertisaing.

I used to ride line but they pissed me off last year with their shitty ass skis...now I have armadas. I still like line and I still have my chronic wides from last year, but they fucked up real bad last season.

im still riding a pair of Mike NIcks from 05, and they are still super solid. I duno what they did different
