Lincoln loops

if its summer for you too, then trampolines.

lincolns are pretty easy on tramp once you get the motion down. i actually in a way found corks harder on tramp though... ive only done corks on tramp and water ramps.

anyway for cork just jump really high, drop your shoulder and throw your other shoulder and arm overtop. i dont know if im explaining that properly. hope it helps.

For lincolns focus on one spot straight in front of of you, like a tree or something. Set the flip and watch the tree the whole way around. If you look down or away from that point you'll start to spin.

for lincolns just keep your eyes focused on something in front of you, and spin around your eyes, you'll understand me more when you try them, have you got a trampoline?

i have also wanted to try lincoln loops, but when i see videos of lincons it almost looks like people throw like as a rodeo, if that makes sense, not not looking in front of them but actually tucking the shoulder and spining it. is doing lincolns and corks anything like doing them on skis at all?

a rodeo is kinda like a lincoln with a spin, lincolns are a lot easier though since you can just fixate on a point and rotate, find a tramp, it'll come real easy if you learn to throw it.

basically, lincolns are kinda hard. i used to look down and i would end up throwing in a spin and go kinda forward. just tuck you head into your shoulder and flip your arms in that motion. try to focus on something in front of you. then work on style later, they are really easy once you get the hang of them.

for corks reach your hand to the outside of your foot kinda fast, like punching it. then drop the inside shoulder and itll come around. then you can get style, learn to set them late or as soon as the spin starts etc.

yeah i can def do lincolns on a tramp they are real real easy, but when i see people do them they kind of throw it as a rodeo would be, but not ad that extra 180. i think its hard to explain

lincons= keep staring at a point in front of you

corks=follow the shoulder your not dropping

thats how i learned on tramp anyway

I think they are easy (lincon's), but a lot of people say corks are easy and I can't do them. Your body does natrurally bring you around though on them (lincon's) . Even give them a shot in the pipe, it would be considered a flare, but its a very similar concept and you don't have to boost to do them. After you have them dialed in the pipe, doing off a jump will be easy. Thats what worked for me, so good luck. peace

umm, thats sounds like a bio, not a cork. corks are easy, spin like you would normally do for a 7 (easiest spin to cork), but when you initiate the spin drop your leading shoulder. start by only corking just a little bit (barely drop the shoulder), then work your way into more corked out spins as you become comfortable spinning on a different axis.

the tree will move you are flippin after all............. what he's sayin is you should be able to see that one spot the entire flip.

licons are so easy. I learned them on skis first. All you do is basicly a barrel roll. SO just huck your body sideways one direction and keep leaning till you think you have spun enough and pull out.

lincolns are madd easy once you learn how to do them, biggest thing is to throw your left arm over your head and right arm behind your back, if your spinning when you do it try flipping the other way and focus on one spot its madd easy after you do it once

i keep doing some weird flip like i front flip but it is like a 90, then a barrel roll, then another 90. I can do them with a 270 at the end to. what would that be?

i like kidn of leaning back alot then carving into the jump and just leaning back while flipping sidewards its hard to explain kind of tricky but super fun

for the linkin, do you go straight off the kicker and throw it sideways or do you go off, turn 90 and then throw it sideways???

are you kidding dude? Well in case your not you go straight off and go sideways. Turning first would be more an underflip type deal.

there is flipping backwards, fowards and sideways. (i kno theres more but this is dumb talk) lincoln is sideways. its a pretty basic manuever, but i cant do them on skis so w/e. i guess im not good to talk then.

lincolns-look at a spot and throw sideways and try to look at the spot the whole time

corks-first do a straight up 7, then do that exact same thing but drop your leading shoulder (if you spin left its your left one viseversa) at about 90* (degrees)

dont try to flip or cork or anything just just drop your shoulder and dont force it, try to flow with the spin

I can do them on diving boards way easier than tramps. I dunno why. I'm on dive team maybe that's why.

But I just do them big off of the diving board. Just throw sideways while jumping off the board and tuck up. For me it's just a jerk of the shoulders...that's how it feels to me anyways.
