Limewire

my computer cashed and we lost all of our music off of itunes. i had limewire before and my dad thinks it gave us a virus on our computer that made it crash. i want to get it again so we dont need to pay for all the songs again. if i get limewire pro will it still give my computer viruses? please help currently have 8 songs on my ipod and i need more and my dad wont let me get limewire and i really need more music!!!!!!!

Limewire won't give you the viruses the song's you download from Limewire may contain trojans, I have a security system that my dad uses for his business and it detects everything. Most of the time the unknown songs that are hard to find that you like contain a virus and it's usually just a sleeper which means it just sits on your computer and does nothing it's just there. It may have been a song it may not, usually it's something you pick up from a sketchy website that causes a computer crash or malfunction. My answer would be to use torrents if anything and if your dad really doesn't want viruses he better fork over money to buy the songs.

thats what he wants to do but i just made a list upstairs of all the bands i want and there are a ton so it would cost so much and i dont want to make him pay that much and i deff dont have enough

but if you insist, download frostwire.

download songs.

if a file is under 1.5mb(1500kb), it could be sketchy. most audio files range from 3-8mb
