I had it and never updated it so i downloaded the 4.10.3 i think and it fuked up my computer so much. there was all spyware and shhit.

does bearshare do this stuff?

wat should i get?
 
limewire doesnt give you spywear the only thing I can think of is you downloaded it from a diffrent source that just added spywear to it for their own benifit.
 
i use Ares, i havent hand any problems yet and i like it a lot better then limewire. search google for it if you wanna download it
 
i downloaded it from there site, the first time was fine but then when i updatd it got so much stuff

my friends told me limewire gave them spyware and since it never happened to me i ddnt beleive them but now i got it and it sux
 
whats spyware all about? I never had a problem with that. I have limewire and my shits fine my pc blocks all that im pretty sure. I have firewall protection too I know.
 
wen u dl bearshare, it says you have to dl this other seperate program called, "save!" or something like that, but all you need to do is delete the spyware program thing with ad aware or something
 
i use bittorrent such as "the pirate bay" for big things like albums and shit. if want just a couple songs or some ummm...imformative video clips, limewire is where its at.
 
I used to have WinMX, but then they shut it down. Now I'm looking for something new. What's the best free music software?

the update for limewire will gove you spyware, maybe if you searched you would have seen I have already gone over this.

thats why I keep mine at its steady state of 2-3 years ago hahah. no spyware here
 
So I guess I wont update mine, Every time go ther they say update to newer version,

But i guess i should not do that from what I hear
 
yeah dont, i have version from a good 2 years ago, and somehow i get TURBOCHARGED... i thought you had to pay to get that. so im like fuck no update for me
