kk my limewire is not letting me connect and download songs becuase i have a firewall thing up.

i dont know what the firewall thing is. i think maybe nortin. but yea im not a computer geek so i have no idea what to do. and i dont wanna take down the firewall cuz thats really dumb cuz then viruses get in n shit. what should i do. help out

limewire has done nothing but give me viruses. download bitcomet. its a torrent downloader, so all you have to do is find a torrent website (thepiratebay is the best) and you can get whole cd's that are already organized for you.
 
Bearshare 5.2.5 its they last free one and it goes right to your itunes without a problem.limewire sucks it has wayyyy to many viruses.
 
you need to forward a port, that means you can download from limewire but at the same time still have ur firewall up. its too confusing online so i wont explain it to you.

just get bittorrent and fuck limewire

but if u hve a mac u can go into preferences to except limewire past firewall, and on a pc you can just search for ur firewall, and then do the same
 
bitcomet is a poor client and dusnt report to the tracker properly, you wouldnt even be able to use it on a decent site i.e. not piratebay

oh and piratebay might not be around much longer, they lost there court case in sweden although itll stay up untill after the appeal
 
lolol if you paid for that shit thats funny. i just downloaded limewire pro straight from limewire hahaha. and it works just as good as my friend who paid for it. its not super expensive so its not like i found gold but it saved me a few.
 
your best bet is using torrents some much better! but if not a while ago you could download lime wire pro off lime wire im not sure if they still do that but if so it uploads so much quicker but the people at lime mite have already fixed that but check it out just incase its a sick hack! good luck
 
SOULSEEK is by far the best. Download WHOLE albums with ease. You may even find albums before their released (I got the new Prefuse 73 three months prior to release!). Not only that but you have a user name and can add users to your friend list, pm them or view their shared folder directly.
