Lil wayne is the most overrated rapper ever

i haven't watched more than 3 seconds of MTV over the past 8 years and probably less than 24 hours over the course of my entire life, so it's had absolutely no impact on my opinion of rap. i believe Pac is one of the best, if not the best MC of all time for a number of reasons, none of which have anything to do with fucking MTV, so fuck you. futhermore, i never supported that list. i simply posted it for the irony. i'd say Jay should be more around 6-8 and LL shouldn't be in the top 25.
 
ha this thread has turned into everyone just quoting and arguing. i think tupac and eminem are equally the two best rappers of all time. niether better or worse than the other....... whatcha think about that?
 
How can music be overrated? Is there a music national ranking system I missed out on? A national championship every year? It's just music....get over it...
 
well, I can't believe that I am posting in this thread because lord knows that I have tried and tried in countless weezy threads to talk some sense into everyone but nobody will here of it.
Anyway, check my sig, I stand by it. I love listening to weezy, I don't think his lyrics are trash, he comes up with thousands upon thousands of sick metaphors regularly and they bring my friends and I hours of enjoyment.

Dude, who fucking cares? People like you who say Weezy is overrated, just generalize on what they see on MTV and hear on the Radio. *CLAIM* I have like 3 gigs of just Weezy in my iTunes, for sure a bunch of it is garbage, but there is a TON of legit tracks on there. And I listen to plenty of music, of all different genres, somewhere around 400 different artists in my iTunes alone. People listen to what they want, when they want, and why they want. Nobody should give a fuck about what you think about a particular artist. I have plenty of friends who HATE Weezy, but thats their right and I'm not going to try to convince them otherwise.
