Lil Wayne came by the Barn

Yes, YES!

I mean this guy probably has enough money to be flying private jets everywhere... he's an international superstar, worth likely hundreds of millions of dollars, and he's hanging out at Woodward skating. That is rad.

Its a gigantic problem in Skiing that we're far too elitist. Hell I quit racing to come to newschool skiing because racing was too elitist... and now here we are doing the same thing.

again who cares if he sucks, he's stoked and having a good time and that stuff makes me stoked. Stop trying to get a cheap laugh outta making fun of him and just listen to Bishop

same here man i quit racing in like 01 because i got sick of all the race kids talking about how many skis they own.. 11 years later kids are talking about how many twin tips they own. before i go on a rant here is this to sum it up from me. 408239.jpeg

This makes me like/respect Lil' Wayne a little more now, and I do have to agree with him. Da funnest ting ta do at Woodward at Copper is launchin' inta da foam pit, and da bowl is suppa fast.

You guys seemed to think he thinks he's like really good.. it's clear he knows he isnt good. He's stoked on a shuvit for god sakes, he even knows that its not a pop shuvit

I agree 100%, word up Bishop.

I've noticed even in myself that at times I can be standoff-ish, impatient on the hill towards beginners and just generally anyone who interferes with my precious little routine.

At the end of the day, even if I'm not consciously thinking that I'm superior to others, my attitude and actions reflect it, and I'm making an effort to be a little more gracious and accepting of others. I know that's barely related, but I think most of us could stand to be a little less harsh towards others.

that was when he first started you fat, ignorant fuck. how can you not respect him trying out something new, especially an action sport? i think it's awesome that he's become so passionate about skating. my friend got to skate with him at his private session here in Milwaukee after his concert and said he's actually really good for how long he's ridden and his progression is amazing. how can you not respect that?

in 7th grade you were probably that fat kid who bought the skateboard to be cool and skated (walked) around the park with a helmet, knee-pads and elbow-pads getting in everyone's way and asking everyone if they can double kickflip.

I think its sweet to see him getting into skating, hes like so stoked when he lands stuff and you see the same smile on him that youd see on a 13 year old landing their first 5 or something (cept his smile has like $$1,000,000 worth of platinum and diamonds)

MY ONLY QUESTION

what the fuck was he doing in the copper area? hahah i mean... that whole area is pretty... well you know....

The smiles comment is soooo true. He keeps the stoke alive.

As far as why Lil Wayne was at Copper? His agent called us up just so they could come over to skate the Barn. Pretty awesome if you ask me.
