Lil Wayne and his crew came by the Barn last night for a skate session, and here's what Weezy had to say about how much he loves skating, the awesomeness of the Barn, skating into foam pits, and his new clothing line Trukfit.

thats sick! He did a show in pittsburgh and my friend owns a skate park here. my buddy and 2 other friends were chillin late night at the skate park just messing around when weezys tour bus pulls in.. anyways they ended up skating with him and young money crew or whatever from like 2am until 5am. I guess for as much as people hate Wayne he is actually a pretty chill relaxed dude and not a dick at all like most famous people.
 
^i could do the tricks lil wayne just did in that video... i could do more when i was in 7th grade.
 
Sick. Dude sounds like hes actually learning skating not just doing it for the sake of doing it. Hes only been skating for a few months so pretty sick.

Atta boy Wayne, guys just having fun ripping around, fuck I can't skate for shit so props to him for trying. Dunno why everyones hatin on him guess just a buncha dub step fans.
 
Say whatever you want, it's obvious he really does dig skating and I respect anyone that's willing to humble themselves to try something new, especially at his age and with a total lack of a natural in to skating.

You guys can hate all the fuck you want about his bag of tricks, but really? The dude has been skating like a year, and he's humble about everything he does, it's not like he's claiming he's doing big shit. I hope he inspires a lot of people to try shit that's not really in their lane, be it skating or whatever. Props to him for having a passion outside of music, and one that wouldn't necessarily be "accepted" in that world.
 
This is true, I would much rather listen to repetitive dubstep than his awful attempts at rapping.
 
i cant believe im about to agee with this. i dont really listen to his music, but from every interview ive seen from him (which has been many) that has popped up on this site he presents himself pretty well.

I hate Lil Wayne's music so much. But it's cool that he's into skating and stuff. Good for him.

I mean everyone starts somewhere. and if he's havin fun Good for him!
