Yea the problem is wayne is garbage. Its very hard for me to comprehend how kids like music that has lyrics that bitch slap the english language in the face... The dude sounds like he's a fucking four year old.

its not overly difficult to make a catchy melody and mainstream music is all melody, ll waynes voice is somewhat unique too, his lyrics are over the top funny. don't take it so seriously, i don't love weezy but i have carter 1, 2, 3
 
Lil wayne is everything that is fucking awesome about new music. Meaningful lyrics, amazing melodies and even better flow. Fuck all "underground" shit like Wu Tang. Weezy would destroy them in a freestyle and a fistfight.

why do you care so much what others listen to? if you dont like it dont listen plain and simple. you remind me of a 16 year old. I can also assume you have never even heard albums like the carter 2 and his other older albums. 1,000,000 albums sold in one week? yea he sucks.........

All of you people hating on Weezy need to stop trying. He makes the most clever lyrics of anybody right now has a unique flow. His beats are fresh and THE GUY CAN RAP. Like Ben said, get off your high horse and realize that just because a rap song isn't underground or old doesn't mean that it is bad. Lil Wayne actually probably would destroy lots of "underground" guys.

Let me rephrase that for you. I would much rather listen to illmatic than a lil wayne album. Just my preference. Wayne ruined my like for him when that bullshit autotune singing shit was realeased from him.

God. That song was so dope. Wayne has some sick shit and also has some terrible shit. But he has some dope ass flow and some sick beats.

Just because he isn't "super thug and old school" doesn't mean you can't like him. Yah Nas, Wu-tang, Old Dre/Snoop, Biggie etc. etc. are all sick. That still doesn't mean you can't appreciate Wayne actually having better rap than most of the shit on the radio today.

But what do I care. I don't give a fuck what you guys listen to and will go back to enjoying my Streetlight Manifesto, Passion Pit, and Animal Collective.

PS. You aren't thug because you listen to Old School rap and also aren't hardcore because you hate on Lil' Wayne. Listen to No Ceilings mixtape if you want some sick ass music.
 
weezy raps about getting bitches just like almost everyone else...tupac, lupe, and I forgot cudi can send a message with their lyrics, while lil wayne can't
