Lightest Freestyle Binding?

is the line binding just garbage? and does anyone know the weight of it? i have line skis and i feel it'd be kinda stupid to drill into them since they're pre-drilled.

just get the stupid base - you mount it on the ski and then you can mount any binding on it - they say you wwont raise the level too high

na, i dont think thats true. line claims that the base allows line bindings to fit other skis. i've yet to have one of their sales reps tell me the right answer and be sure about it. anyways i dont think the base does allow for different bindings on line skis without another drill required. can anyone confirm this?

i think it's either the look px 12 ti or the line reactor 10.

i might just get that reactor to avoid a redrill.

the base is for non line skis and Line bindings and as for the lightest bindings are salomons but they have some problems and need a lot of ajustments get look/rossi and you wont be disappointed.

yeah i just saw those on colorado ski outlet. i'll probably get em from there seeing as how my parents will most likely get me them for christmas.

may i ask...

why did look get rid of its heel pivot system for this year?

also can someone give me a rough estimate as to how heavy the reactors are? anyone at their work have a scale or something.

wow the sticky was made for a reason. read the sticky on the top of your page and it will answer your question. if you want a lightweight binding get salomon even thoug hthey arent as durable as look or rossi

na im gunna get the look pivot 12's or the line reactors. people who actually have the reactors like them. they allow the ski to flex like no other ski can.

Actualy the tyrolia railflex setup allows the ski to the flex asmuch as the reactors do. And with the railflex you can still swtich between skis and stuff with one pair of bindings. Just need the extra plate. Weigh a ton less than the lines too, and nearly the same functional heelpiece (30degrees different).

funny how you were looking at getting the lightest freestyle binding, and now you plan on getting reactors, by far, the heaviest binding out there.

good choice. ha!

my sister just got the s810's and i have to admit that they're really slick. the 910's would be even better. i'm going to get the line reactors simply to avoid a redrill into my ski, because i also plan on getting new boots next year. the weight thing makes me angry but i'll still have that awesome bowwed out flex that the reactors allow skis to have. thanks for all the help guys. and in my opinion i'd have to say that the look pivot 14 03/04 model is probably the best deal for bindings on the market. there aren't many left. i'm curious as to know why look removed it's pivot technology for the 05/06 model. can anyone answer that? maybe it just wasn't effective.
