LIGHTEST BIG MOUNTAIN SKI?!?

the seth pistols are pretty light, and if you throw some salomon s912Ti bindings on there, you'd be set. thats a light setup.

yep, i have pistols, but i put the S914 Axe+ binding on there, its not as light as with a Ti binding, but still not bad! that and they ride like a dreeeeeam....

Seth Pistol + Marker Ti1200 PC

That's gotta be the lightest. Either that or a moship with the same binding. I'm quickly becoming a Marker whore, they make sweet-ass bindings, and the 1200Ti is a good bit lighter than a 912Ti.

yeah but eric is that marker binding better than the salomon binding? im not too sure about marker bindings, i've had bad experiences with them in the past. and yes matchstickkid- the seth pistol is one of the best skis this year

 
MARKER the most famous pre-release binding company. They are also heavier than Salomon bindings.

I have markers on my old skis, they arent good, but my dads like a hardcore skier, not a racer just a recreation hardcore, like catskiing, backcountry and he swears by upper end markers

I know a few people that feel that way about markers. they live by em. they are all 30 or 40+ though. I think they havn't experienced some of the other bindings, or it suits them fine for their skiing style. just not good for dropping cliffs, and newschool
