Anyone else going to the TGR premiere on Thursday at the King Cat?

powderhound100 and I will be there, along with a couple other NS'ers. Hopefully it will be a better premiere atmosphere than the MSP premiere.
 
haha yeah he did. what time to you expect to get into Seattle? I will be at work until 4pm and might just hang out downtown until the movie starts.
 
Is that your subaru and van with on3p stickers on it on 19th and union? I pass them every day on my way to school
 
Yup, thats us. I walk by your school a couple times a week to, you go to the one on union and 12th right. seattle prep or something like that.

twas so sick. the 3D woulda been sicker if they had more shots like the hand drag and jump over the hut. but still the 3D was so damn fun to watch.
 
agreed, downloading the soundtrack now,

had to say john sprig's scene BLEW ME AWAY!!! was SO awesome

yeah, pretty much one of my top five favorite movies
 
^yeah, dubstep is overrated.
Parts of the 3d was cool, but overall I thought it just looked more weird than 3d. That red shirt was trippy...flickering white to blue to red to purple all crazy like
 
damnit im so pissed i had to miss it haha it sounded sick, and am i the only one who likes dubstep and glitch mob in ski movies more than say the way i see it's soundtrack? jw

i thought my eyes were broken, but it was pretty sweet, if you blinked your eyes intermittently it was like a freekin acid trip!!
 
the 3d was weird as hell, but i guess it was cool, when sammy put that groomer into the camera i was like wow man!
 
how is light the wick? seth's segment sick as always?

... TGR really using dubstep as well? sorry i didn't read all posts just a few on bottom ..
 
yup, pretty much the only time the 3d worked for me was that part. The skiing just looked kind of funky, didn't really pop out the way the groomer did.
 
oh and even though the film was good, it seemed too long

The iTunes version doesn't have the 3d in the Stevens segment, but it's a steal at $9.

Really enjoyed it. So much ballsy skiing.
