I have more, but there too big to upload

You take a cold cathode light (basically car neon) and set your shutter speed on your camera for a really long time, I usually do around 30 seconds, and walk around/wave the light at night time. Since the light is so much brighter than everything it shows up as a continuous streak of color.

I did this, wouldnt really consider it as real form of talent though...

so that's how they did it....

what if you're filming and you do this?

I remember a snowboarding film that had colored flashlights and did this

I don't understand though, wouldn't your body get in the way of the light? And even if it didn't, wouldn't the camera show your arms?

nobody else noticed it says NS's in the title?

anyhow, these pictures are too sick, especially ninjasteeze's

I had a whole shit ton of led cables on different timers while dancing at bisco. Saw some cool pictures. Never painted with light but got some pictures of a weird acid jellyfish of colors with the exposure.

the light that the light puts out is stronger than the light that bounces off you body. but if you stay in one place to long the camera will pick up parts of you.

One of my friends has a ton of good stuff with it. I haven't done much with it myself though.

light painting is sick and almost all of these are dope.

that being said, im still waiting for something completely original to surface

I was gonna say this looks kinda stupid because i thought it was just edited photos...i guess im wrong...?

no editing on these photo's, period. there all long exposures, I would explain more but I'm at a concert lolol

No editing. You leave the camera exposed for a long period of time and you wave lights around (paint) which show up as streaks of light.

Alright that's pretty sick, I still don't really get how it's done because I know nothing about cameras but I have respect for it now
