I would love your help!

this is what i use its really cheap and works for most people

if youre just starting you really shouldnt use supplements because chances are you dont know what youre doing but creatine mono is a solid choice and creapure is some good stuff

if your doing it for football, id say go for it because it allows your body to perform at full exertion a little longer, so it will help. But if your doing it just to get more muscle, youll have to watch if you want to become lean, because it also adds water weight and if you dont drink enough water your body will bloat because the cells want to retain water

*sparknotes*

football-yes

getting huge-no, not worth it

I take creatine only after skiing, rigorous love making, and hardcore COD sessions. Make sure you wear brotanks or it doesn't work.

im not saying it endurance, but it helps you maintain your top level a little longer since it helps the creation of ATP

you should also cycle off of creatine and if that happens during football season hes just gonna wish he trained hard and ate right and didnt take any suppswhen you get off it makes a big difference if the stuff works for you

As far as my research has gone into Whey protein vs Creatine I have learned a couple things. I choose whey protein over Creatine because if you dont burn the initial creatine you consume its turns it into water weight stored in your muscles so while you look "bigger" it doesnt make you stronger. I usually dont lift only take whey protein after baseball practice with dinner to restore the muscle cells.

Just google creatine uses or some shit.

i enjoyed the taste and thought that muscle milk products worked great when i used to play football.

Brand wise it's all the same. Just get creatine monohydrate and don't buy into all the fancy other types. Whatever is cheapest per serving is going to work.

For all those people saying don't take it, what is your brilliant reasoning?

don't just supplement creatine try and balance your intake a bit better with different aminos ans suchlike the best way to go if you are new to this is to take an all-in-one shake

Suppliments are for pussies. Eat a lot of protein and carbs. Half that shit out there doesnt work anyways, no matter what kids on here tell you

Fuck all the other really artificial shit, best advice I can give u is skim or 1% chocolate milk, more natural and good for you, nutritionist and weight trainer told me that. I use it, u will feel much better and your body will thank you in the end

dont take it. its not needed. protein powder and a vitamin are good enough. people at GNC or Maxx nutrition will upsell creatine like its the golden ticket though

I actually remember when I first bought creatine. On a cold Friday afternoon, I had come home from school. I had been thinking of the gym all day. I was hungry, didn't have any lunch. In fact, I didn't eat because I spent the money. For the past month I was saving up for something. Something special which I bought at GNC. I was surprised they didn't ask for ID; I was pretty sure the cashier noticed how nervous I was. Anyways, my mom asked my how my day was when I got home, but I ignored her. I have more important things to do. I run to the bathroom and unpack my bag. In my school bag is a white plastic bag from GNC. I open the bag, first removing the receipt and flushing it down the toilet to get rid of the evidence. My heart was racing now. I unpack the creatine monster from the bag.

I wonder what people will be asking me when they see that I will be 50lbs heavier. Should I say I was just eating a lot? I remove the label from the tub and tear it into a thousand small pieces. I flush that down the toilet, too. It is time now. I run up to my room when my mom ask me what I am holding. I panic, sweat drips down my forehead and my teeth chatter. "Mom, it's just for a school project". "What project?" "I don't know mom I just started it!". A tear runs down my cheek. I run upstairs and open the creatine, scooping upservings into a clear water bottle. What have I gotten myself into? I fill it with water and drink it. There is no turning back now. The creatine monster is inside me now, it will control me. What should I do if I die? I cant let my family know about this.

I open the creatine tub and throw it all out the window; a white cloud of mysterious dust sparkles into the wind so graciously. I feel the substance taking control of me; I am now the monster. I walk downstairs, its time to work out; time to get big. Now I worry, I don't want to get too big; people will think I use steroids. I do use steroids. No I don't. Creatine. All I see is the weights now, I am almost downstairs when I hear "Do you want a cookie I just baked". I know I do not have time for this shit now. "No mom I do not want a cookie" I walk in the basement and drop to my knees before the weights, tears running down my cheeks. I turn to the right and look at myself in the mirror. Oh god, what have I done?

don't take creatine, take animal pack extreme and p6 together.

or go into gnc and buy the most expensive supplement. thats what i did and im a brickhouse

Going to a website filled with a punch of skinny, prepubescent skiiers and asking about weightlifting is retarded. Do some research on the rest of the interwebs and you'll see it's a completely harmless and beneficial supplement to take.

Whey is pretty ridiculous. I took it (along with lifting 5 days a week) and gained about 17 pounds in a month and a half

creatine makes your dick small

or wait, is that steroids?

i don't know, but you should follow my advice because i'm an inexperienced internet poster

I'd highly recommend doing some research elsewhere. If I was trying to find reviews of a supplement primarily used by bodybuilders, Newschoolers is one of the last places I'd go. There are tons of websites out there that would be of much more assistance than this one for that sort of thing, as many freeskiers don't even have a clue as to what creatine monohydrate is, much less when and who should take it or which brands to go far.

I do have personal preferences for supplements. There is a weight lifting cult (I think it's called Bodybuilding Cult, but it's more than just bodybuilding) on NS. See if you can get an invite if you're seriously interested.

This is what she's talking about, I can accept the invite.

there are so many experts who are completely right, arguing for opposite sides. and theyre all children / and or dumb people

most of you guys dont know fucking anything..

you dont just take creatine one day and not the next

there is no creatine v. whey PROTEIN argument they are completely different things

supplements dont build muscle they are SUPPLEMENTS to help you get more out of your work outs and recover faster

all you need to build muscle is protein and whey is just a type of protein from milk you probably already take and dont know it

maybe if you guys would actually go to the gym and lift you would understand
