christ out west u can pay under 300$ for a season pass to like mountains..but here on the east coast 250 is a base student price...royal mountain..which is one of the smallest in new york charges 300 for a season pass..crazy...and stratton charges 72$ for a junior weekend ticket...thats outragious

It blows balls but i would assume it has to do with demand out west they can acomidate more riders and there are more ppl goin out west such as vactioners and what not so they can afford to lower prices and east coast is forced to keep prices up to stay aflote! Idk though just a guess

Meadows- I had to pay $395 for the season

Timberline- I had to pay $200 for the season (which ends May 30th). Then the summer pass is $888.

for us east coasters, the ASC (american ski company) season pass is $1200+... it covers six mountains with unlimited unrestricted use, holidays, weekends, whatever. when i was out in tahoe, Heavenly's season pass was like 300$ or somethin'... totally ridiculous

mammoth sells passes in the spring for skiing from may-june/july and the whole next season at mammoth and june mtn for $425. 30,000 of them sell out in around 2 weeks. regular pass here is $1,200

ya lift tickets are expensive but skiing is an expensive sport and plus the higher the prices the better the mtn is (depends who runs the mtn)

so i think its worth it (my opinion)

yeah, i've paid over $100 US in the last 2 weeks for 2 MIDWEEK tickets!

then again, i work at a ski resort, so the amount of free skiing that i do is kinda countered by that.
