feeling like shit went skiing anyway

first run some middle school kid i saw said he'd seen me before and asked if i could teach him how to 3

i said sure

we skied together all day and i got him his first 3 and he bought me a hot chocolate with money his mom sent him on apple pay

shit actually made my day so much better

Idk how old you are, but I’d guess high-school-aged. If that’s the case, you’ve been secretly blessed in so many ways. High school relationships aren’t meant to last. Remove yourself from all drama and enjoy yourself and try hard in school. Having a girlfriend in high school might seem glorious, but really it robs you of a lot of quality time at a fun age that you’ll never get back.

Different times we are in today guy. They dont make real women anymore, they are all attention seeking whores now. Junior in highschool, you just getting started brother, you got plenty more shit to go through.
 
bro one of the last times I was able to ski before i got injured i was just up by myself and got on the lift with these middle schoolers. i talked to them and i was able to convince them to take a lap in the park with me and i got them trying to hit a box (not 50/50) and got them to hit a small kicker. they loved it an i think i got them into park skiing

Had a gf my junior year, went skiing on valentines instead of taking her to lunch. Looking back it was so not cool, but hs really isn't the time for that stuff. I clearly wasn't mature enough, and that was 2 years ago and I still don't feel like I'd be ready for a relationship. She was an amazing girl, but spending my senior year with the boys and being friends with plenty of other girls was a huge blessing. Be patient man
