lifeguarding

i have a couple friends who do it they say its good if you dant have a beach with a ton of little kids and also be ready for pressure cuz if something happens you are responsible

Yes as a beach lifeguard you are responsible for peoples' lives. Bad things do happen, and you will have to save at least 2-3 people. It's a lot of fun though, and good pay.

 
do it at an outdoor pool, you do nothing but tell kids to not hang off the hoop and 1 at a time on the slide

yea its chill. but at my pool we have red cap drills. without knowing it someone dives in the deep end a pretends to have a spinal injury but we don't know its fake. So we definately do have to know what to do and whats going on because its pretty scary when it happens.

I have been a lifeguard for 3 year's now nad it kick's so much ass, some pool's suck and actually make you do more shit than needed but mine is chill and we have only 4 station's and 6 guard's so we work for an hour then get a half hour to sit in the office and fuck around. Just be prepared to deal with massive amount's of stupid patron's. Kind of like asians at a ski resort. Pm me if you have any more question's.

lifegaurding was probably one of the most fun jobs i've ever had. it just gets boring sometimes and some of the people you have to deal with are really stupid. good pay, though, and like mentioned previously, you meet a lot of girls. i had to actually get in the water once and i lifegaurded for several years, so not too much happeneds, but that depends on where your doing it...

 
I would go to the beach everyday last summer, And the lifeguard there told me he gets paid 12 bucks and hour, and 18 for over time. Thats really good pay. Not much ever happens there, either. cept about 2 years ago some guy dove off the dock there and snapped his spine. It was really bad!
