Life sucks /////// HELPP

alright so i went to lake tahoee over the weekkend. it was amazing until my buddy accidently cut me off and i went into a tree. never thought in million years that i would ever hit a tree, but it happend and i broke my ankle/ tibula and my 4FRNT MSPS and it fucking sucks. one of the skis were just snapped at the tip. nott skiiable. but i need some advise what should i do? the skiis were the 08 171 limited edition skiis. (blue ones) im really pissed off. i could care less about my anke, i just want my skiis back. i want to know if calling 4frnt to replace them would b smart?? if some one could give me advise on what to do, i would really appreciate it..

I don't think there is much you can do about an accident like that. They aren't responsible for you hitting a tree, but it's worth a call to see if they have an extra single ski around!

^ agreed.

i don't think their waranty will cover accidents like that but who cares, call them and find out for your self... you've got nothing to loose. maybe they'll be cool about it and hook you up.

wow the same exact thing happened to me (minus the broken bones) I had the 07 dynastar trouble makers, hit a tree and broke one ski about a foot from the tip. I took them to the shop i bought them from and they called dynaster for me. I ended up getting brand new 08 troublemakers (broke those too, didnt get new skis that time) I recommend calling 4frnt just to see what they say, just tell them your story

and even if you have good insurance, if you have to get surgery on your ankle, or any part of your body its not going to be the same after. also theres recovery time, the pain you had to go though, etc. "oppertunity costs" so to speak.

Insurance deffinitely costs more than skis, but its not $600 all at once. I'm just saying, I'd rather break my ankle than my skis. Ankles heal, skis dont

true, although it really comes down to where you live, what your insurance is like, and how badly you broke your ankle(s). i mean are we talking tanner on chads, a simple break, or something even worse?

that blows, i have skis, some money, ankles, and i go to a university where it is at least 2+ hours to get to the nearest mountain and i dont have a car either. in a way i feel your pain. sort of..

i dont think they will replace your skis because its your fault its not like a manufacturing deffect but sorry to hear about you ankle bro i fractured my tibula last year it sucked
