so i knew a few people who read this book and they all said the same thing about it (the start is kind of boring, but just get threw it than it's a really good book), so I picked it up two days ago and decided to just read... took me two days to read it (finished a few hours ago) so i'm still thinking about it and shit, but i gotta say it was a very good book - a bit odd, but very good.

anyone else read it, and if so does anybody not like it?

I just started it the other day, not to far into it though. But yah i've heard the same things about it so i figured i slug through the begining. Hopefully its worth it

Yeah a couple of my buddies read it, I finished it a while ago...it wasn't bad, but I have read better books before. I think I had high expectations for it since everyone told how amazing it was. Oh well...still pretty good, kind of strange though.

i read it a couple months ago. I didnt like it very much. The start was very boring and i thought the rest of the book was too slow too. Some parts were amazing but overall i didnt like it too much.

i liked it... the ending was sad though

'Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil..'

yeah i read it real quick over the summer. i really enjoyed it. nothing was too slow for me, and it was very creative.

well i just thought it was sad when they found land and the tiger (i forget his name... mr. something..) ran off and left him there... idk i just thought it was. But the very end when he was talking with those japanese guys and he was telling his story and everything, that was sweet.

'Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil..'

I read it a few weeks ago. I had to force myself to read the first hundred pages or so but after that it was a pretty good book. Everyone who I talked to who read it said it had an amazing ending so the end didn't quite meet my expectations. Worth a read though

My gf's mum suggested it to me... I might check it out.

From what I've heard, it reminds me of The Alchemist... Am I even remotely close?

A movie...? The book was good, but some there's going to be half a movie without much dialogue...
