Life is short, have an affair.

you cant believe theres a site thats pro-adultry on the internet but you can believe there's sites for midget/feces/amputee/animal porn?

theres EVERYTHING on the internet

ok so you have provided a valid argument but for some reason i still find pro-adultery hard to believe.

I am betting there really arent that many members, just like those little boxes "Hi my names maddie, i live in (insert town next to you here) and i think your cute. lets meet up!"
i mean really, 31,000 local members? i bet not...

Why have an affair when you can include your partner with something like an orgy or threesome with a trusted friend? It seems like that would be more acceptable since it includes both of you. Thoughts?

I have seen cakefarts, and the various other farts.
Nothing in the internet will ever disgust me or shock me again.

i just watched an ad for this in my Media Lit class...i had never heard of Ashely Madison but that is definitely fucked up

Great thanks for sharing this article. I am well pleased with your writings and comments. I believe that it is not proper to advocate adultery especially on the intrenet. Let me share my insights regarding this matter. Michael Duvall, former legislator from the California state legislature, is not what would be called "smart." In fact, the opposite – this vicious dunderhead Michael Duvall was caught bragging about cheating on his wife with Heidi Dejong Barsuglia, a lobbyist. This gets better - he consistently runs on the Family Values bit, which is ironic, in that part of that family values set is one of the 10 rules you aren't supposed to break. You know the one I mean; "Thou shalt not commit adultery." Oh - and she's married too. Some family values. What this means is that Michael Duvall and Hedi's spouses will be serving papers – and getting successful requests for "my cash now!"

Yeah you women seem to tell me that alot.. riiiiiiight. Anyway, it's not true love until we go streaking through the quad and holding hands...... ok i'm done with Old School references.

it makes me really sad when people with kids have affairs...my best friends dad had an affair when we were in elementary school, my friend felt pretty much worthless for the longest time

AWEEEEEEEEEE SHIT. They released it.

o wow they went through with it. lol

"Keep in mind the site is a scam with thousands of fake female profiles. See ashley madison fake profile lawsuit; 90-95% of actual users are male. Chances are your man signed up on the world’s biggest affair site, but never had one. He just tried to. If that distinction matters."

haHahaHahaHa

Yeah as much as wanting to cheat isn't cool, there really isn't any need to fuck over people like this. They're just dicks fucking up their relationships and lives themselves. Maybe their partners/kids a little bit but its not really the world's worst thing. Not good but doesn't deserve royally fucking over people for it.

They should really go after human/sex trafficking sites on the deep web and shit that are infinitely way worse than someone trying to get some sidepiece action.

In regards to the vigalanteism and all that, yeah it's scary, crosses lines but IMO the whole internet does. It changes and we evolve. Look at what facebook used to be; back then it was just college students and it was RAUNCHY and nobody gave AF. Now it's changed and people need to be more vigilant of what is said as we now know everybody and their mom can see what you say online.

It sucks, but so is life. Not a terrible thing that people have one more thing to think about before doing something stupid online.

Keep the internet for shopping and networking/researching and forums. Who knows, maybe someday people will eventually wake up and get sick of it when it actually hits home that there is ZERO privacy online and that it is very capable of fucking your life up.

Is it completely crazy to think that someday we may migrate away from being on the line and start socializing again in person? I doubt it, but just imagine...

Granted, that gives way too much faith in the intellectuality of humankind these days

I mean the thing is that I'm kind of dubious when it comes to mob justice. For sure I like it when the bad guys get punished... hell I'm a massive fan of comic books, super heros and my favorite is the punisher.

When applied to real life though, the problem is false positives.

In this situation, marrige is complicated as fuck. I'm 5 years deep in mine, two kids and 11 total years together. I absolutely love my wife, but sure there is plenty of times that shit gets really hard. It ends up being a lot like living with sibilings or your parents - though you love them and in the end your relationship is amazing - there's times where shit is terrible.

I'm certainly not in that Ashley Madison database (go ahead and check) but I can imagine dudes that were in a really dark place, right on the edge of divorice... completely depressed and hating their lives. They signed up because they figured "Fuck it, its all over anyway, why not see what it would be like if it was?"

Then bam - Wife came around, they saw a therapist, dude got out of depression... whatever. All of a sudden shit is all good. Dude signed up to just see what life might be like post divorice because his life was awful on both sides.... and then 10 years later BAM - he's a target of this hack for being a piece of shit thinking of cheating on his wife. Take the same story and reverse male for female and I'm sure there's cases of the same.

Mob justice outs that person as a piece of shit and crucifies them in public media and to their circle of friends. Worse if they're a public figure. When in reality, they were just in a shitty place in life and did one completely harmless action. Who hasn't ever had bad thoughts? Acting on them is bad, having them is human.

When mob justice gets to the point that it can harm the people who were simply thinking about something, that shit is fucked up. Its not right.

As much as mob justice can do good, the risk of its false positives is frankly too high for this to be acceptable behavior.

Henceforth why a civilized society outlaws this shit every time it comes back to haunt us.

Great post, bishop. I agree 100%. Everyone has got issues, who the fuck are we to ruin peoples livelihoods over mistakes, you know?

Such an odd but amazing time to be alive. You get to do fucking awesome things while also watching what you say/do for sake of your own livelihood.

I'd say the #1 thing to keep in the front of your mind right now is YOUR DATA IS NOT SAFE.

No matter what is promised, unless that shit is on a hard drive not connected to the internet in programs that have never touched it - consider that shit compromised.

I for one would only take dick pics with a polaroid that I burned afterwards. Other than that, I guarantee someone at the NSA or a hacktivist likely has access to my penis.

Admittedly never taken a dick pic. Wayyyyy too paranoid about data theft. If anyone gets to see my junk its in the flesh.
